✨ FROM A SECONDARY WATER LOSS TO A BEAUTIFUL FINISHED BATHROOM ✨

Unfortunately, this homeowner experienced a second water loss after an improperly installed tile shower failed, causing additional damage and requiring the bathroom to be addressed once again.
This time, it was done right. 👏

Our tile specialist, Sergey with Kerk Inc., brought his craftsmanship to both phases of this bathroom restoration. Following the original loss, Sergey completed the beautiful tile flooring. After the secondary loss and shower failure, he returned to completely redo the tile shower and continued tile walls, creating a cohesive finished look throughout the bathroom.

Our Phase One in-house team handled the demolition, remaining reconstruction and finish work, including:

🔨 Drywall repairs
🎨 Painting
🪚 Millwork and finish carpentry
✨ Floating vanity installation/reset
🪞 Mirror reset and final details

Having to go through a second water loss because of improper workmanship is something no homeowner wants to experience. We’re proud to have been able to step in, work alongside a trusted tile professional, and help put this bathroom back together with the attention to detail it deserved.

Because beautiful finishes are important—but what’s behind them and how they’re installed matters just as much.

🔨 WHEN “GOOD ENOUGH” ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH.

Sometimes reconstruction means more than rebuilding after damage—it means fixing what wasn’t done right the first time.

On this project, our Lead Carpenter and Apprentice took on the challenge of rebuilding custom cabinet boxes after the previous contractor’s work fell short. These weren’t simple boxes, either—the cabinetry required intricate cuts, unique angles, precision fitting, and careful attention to detail to properly fit the existing space.
And the corrections didn’t stop there.

The previous contractor/flooring installer failed to account for the proper height of the new underlayment when installing the baseboards. Once the flooring system was completed, the baseboards were left sitting too low and no longer aligned properly with the finished floor.

Our Phase One crew stepped in to make it right—addressing the affected areas with the necessary drywall repairs, paint corrections, and finish work to restore a clean, professional appearance.
We’re incredibly proud of the craftsmanship our team brought to this project. Our experienced carpenters aren't afraid of complicated cuts, challenging layouts, or correcting someone else’s mistakes.

At Phase One Construction Services LLC, we believe the details matter—especially the ones you’ll see every day.
Moving Forward Starts Here. 🔨🏠
