Carly has long been a dedicated supporter of local residents, small businesses, and our community. Now, we hope we can reciprocate some of that support to her and her family! ❤️

Recently, Carly lost her father, Stanley, after an illness. He was not only her beloved father but also the primary provider for over 30 years, while her mother, Joy, took care of Carly.

During this difficult time of grief, Joy and Carly are also facing urgent financial challenges. Their fundraiser highlights that even the costs for Stanley’s cremation are not covered, along with ongoing daily expenses that persist despite their mourning.

If you are able to donate, even a small contribution can make a meaningful impact. If donation isn’t an option, sharing this fundraiser can still help it reach more people.

Carly has consistently demonstrated kindness and support for others over the years. I hope we can show some of that kindness back to her family when they need it most. ❤️

Tactical Tradesman LLC is shifting gears a little.
As our family enters a new season, we’re reevaluating where we put our time, energy, and focus. At the end of the day, we have to make choices based on what keeps our family safe, financially afloat, happy, and able to enjoy the life we’re working so hard to build.

That doesn’t mean Tactical Tradesman LLC is disappearing.

Welding will still be a big part of what we do, especially custom pieces, fabrication, repairs, and those unique projects that let Charlie use the skills he’s spent over 15 years building. We’re just becoming more selective about what we take on and making sure the business works for our family, not against it.

Most of all, thank you!!

Thank you to everyone who has hired us, recommended us, shared our work, tagged our name, followed along, or supported this family-owned business in any way. Every bit of it has mattered.

We've lived about 7 minutes away from this for 6 years and somehow had never explored it before! 🌿❤️💦

We took a little family adventure to Blakely Falls today and were impressed by how much is tucked away back there. Waterfalls, little cascades, rock formations, trails through the woods... all hiding close to home.

One of the things we love about Northeast PA is that you don't need to drive an hour away or plan some huge trip to find something beautiful! Sometimes it's been sitting practically in your own backyard the entire time.

A much-needed afternoon away from projects, work and everything else demanding our attention lately. Just fresh air, exploring and family time! 💚

NEPA really does have some pretty incredible little hidden gems.

Carly has been a dedicated supporter of local residents, small businesses, and our community for years. Currently, I hope we can return some of that support to her and her family. ❤️

Recently, Carly lost her father, Stanley, after an illness. He was not only her beloved father but also the main breadwinner for over 30 years, while her mother, Joy, cared for Carly.

While grieving such an immense loss, Joy and Carly are also facing immediate financial difficulties. Their fundraiser notes that even Stanley’s cremation costs are not covered, along with everyday expenses that continue despite their grief.

If you can donate, even a small amount can make a difference. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser can still help it reach more people.

A little family adventure somewhere new today! 🧀🥰🍕

We took our little guy to Chuck E. Cheese for the first time, and it was actually Megan's first time ever going too! Charlie had been before, so he was the experienced one of the group. 😂

There were plenty of games, lights, sounds and things to explore, but I think one of the biggest hits was the Adventure Zone!! Between the little trampoline area and the obstacle course with ramps, tunnels and a slide, our little guy had his own mini ninja course to explore.

It was fun getting to check out somewhere new together, play some games, watch him explore everything and just enjoy some much needed family time. ❤️

Before we know it, it’ll be Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🎃🦃🎄
If there’s a party, birthday, school event, company party or holiday celebration on your calendar get that date booked! 🎈

I only have a few September dates left, and fall & holiday bookings are already on the books.
You don’t need to have the whole vision figured out yet. Save your date now, we’ll make it pretty later. 💜

Carly has been such a consistent supporter of local people, small businesses, and our own little corner of the community for years! Right now, I really hope we can return some of that support to her and her family. ❤️

Carly recently lost her dad, Stanley, after an illness. He was not only her father and someone she loved tremendously, but also the primary provider for their household for more than 30 years while her mom, Joy, devoted herself to caring for Carly.

Now, while grieving an unimaginable loss, Joy and Carly are also facing immediate financial hardship. Their fundraiser explains that even the cost of Stanley’s cremation is not currently covered, along with the everyday expenses that don’t stop just because a family is grieving.

If you’re able to donate, even a small amount can help! If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser can still make a tremendous difference in helping it reach more people.

Carly has shown so much support and kindness to others over the years. I’d really love to see some of that kindness come back around to her family when they need it most. ❤️

There is something that needs to be said about how small businesses, especially contractors, are treated.

Over the last two years, we have worked with some truly wonderful clients. People who communicate, respect our time, understand the process, and appreciate the work being done. Those are the people who make running a small business worthwhile.

Unfortunately, we have also learned that some people believe hiring a small contractor means they are entitled to unlimited flexibility, constant availability, extra work, and disrespect when things do not happen exactly when or how they imagined.

That is not how this works! Before a project begins, we discuss the scope, estimate, timeline, materials, expectations, and what needs to be ready for us to do our job.

If materials are delayed by a supplier, that is not the contractor's fault.
If a workspace is not ready when agreed upon, that affects the timeline.
If scheduled dates are changed, materials are missing, decisions change halfway through the project, or recommended steps are removed to save time or money, those choices can affect both the schedule and the final result.
And someone's personal deadline does not suddenly override the professional timeline they were given!

You cannot ask a contractor to cut corners and then demand perfection.

You cannot repeatedly change the circumstances of a job and then blame the person doing the work when those changes have consequences.

And you cannot treat someone poorly simply because you are paying them for a service.

We have tried extremely hard to accommodate people's budgets, schedules, and individual circumstances. Sometimes that has meant adjusting projects, finding less expensive options, breaking jobs into stages, or being far more flexible than we probably should have been.

But flexibility is not permission to take advantage of someone!

Small business owners have families, schedules, bills, fuel costs, insurance, tools, materials, and other customers waiting for their time. When a contractor reserves a day for your project, that time has value!

We take pride in the work we do, and we expect to be held accountable for what we agree to do.
But accountability goes both ways!

Respect the estimate. Respect the agreed scope. Respect the process. Respect the contractor's time. And above all, respect the person you hired.

Being a customer does not give anyone the right to treat a small business owner like trash!

We are done accepting that as "part of doing business."
