From Demo to Rebuild Mode 🚧🏔️

The old decking and all existing hand-peeled rails have now been fully removed, exposing the original structural frame underneath. After a full inspection, we found major structural repairs are needed before this mountain deck can safely move forward to the next phase.

Now it’s rebuild time. Material is loaded up and headed to the site for framing reinforcement, structural repairs, and preparation for brand new decking and custom rustic hand-peeled rails.

Projects like this are more than just replacing boards — it’s about rebuilding the foundation the right way so this deck can handle Colorado weather for years to come.

Another mountain project getting ready for transformation in Estes Park, Colorado

This existing deck has seen years of weather exposure, so the top decking surface and rails will be demoed and fully inspected. Our crew will evaluate the existing framing structure and, if it’s still structurally sound, reshape and reinforce portions to give it new life while preserving the original character of the cabin.

The plan: brand new decking surface paired with custom rustic hand-peeled log rails to match the mountain style of the property and surrounding landscape.
