Master carpenter Ralph Kracke just completed this OUTSTANDING backyard chicken coop. 4 nesting boxes, and 2 enormous wheelbarrow tires with an axle to boot! 300#'s approximately, but with the wheels it can be moved around the yard with ease! Ralph needed 16 hours or so to build this 7' X 6.5' beauty, painting, and installing plastic coated black chicken fencing added another 8 hours. Painted with sherwin Williams Superpaint, primer included and 2 coats. Construct is almost exclusively pressure treated lumber, except where shingles are going to be added (not pictured). The size of the coop can be altered to accommodate more (or fewer) birds within reason. What would you be willing to pay for something like this??? (materials cost just over $325)
Trying to figure out if there is a small business opportunity here. So again. How much would you be willing to pay for one of your own?

We first contacted My Guys Remodeling in 2020 regarding James Hardie siding and new windows. We were only able to do windows at the time, but we stayed in contact with them as we prepared to re-do our 90’s house’s exterior siding. Dave was fantastic to work with in defining the job specification and quote information. Due to demand, we had to wait a few months for them to get started with the job. Once they started, they were off to the races.
We have a 2,700 sf home and opted for slate gray James Hardie siding. Dave said it could take a couple of weeks for the install. The My Guys crew essentially finished the job in 4½ days! They also helped out by installing our new exterior lighting for us. Hardie isn’t cheap material, so if you go that route be prepared for a pretty hefty price tag. But we feel the price is completely worth it for the strong, beautiful, essentially maintenance-free home exterior.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Hardie siding from My Guys Remodeling. They are a Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor so you can rest assured that they have been trained in installation of the product. Ben, Shane, Alex, and the installation crew were terrific to work with and made what could be a stressful project pretty much seamless.
