Onto the next!

Doing a total trim overhaul in this home. Custom kitchen island, coffee bar, Halltree , and a fireplace built in!

We’re also doing some wainscoting with a coffered ceiling piece on the ceiling. Last but not least, an 18 ft accent wall.

Today we went through and ripped out all the old door casings , baseboard , crown , etc.

As always we cleaned up thoroughly. Nothing is worse than messy contractors that don’t respect your home.

To end a grueling process , it’s all painted !

We sprayed Renner which is an industrial coating that’s built to last! The paint came out impeccable . We’re giving the paint a little to cure, and then we’ll put white oak stools to match the flooring and handrails!

Day 2!

Overhauling this gorgeous staircase . The risers & skirt details are done.

The ceiling is roughly 16ft from the landing and the accent wall makes it feel even taller !

Working on this home this year has been such a pleasure , it’s going to be sad to leave next week.

Redoing this staircase !

Wrapping up this job finally , fixing some things , and adding more .

The risers were done with the wrong type of board , and they were poorly fit . So we corrected it ! The stair skirts and cap had peeling paint, and the overall look was not well done.

The walls will be wrapped in a beautiful accent piece soon; and then color drenched ! The cabinet will look like wainscoting , and the doors will have push to open hinges.

The little details always matter !

What an adventure !
Months of planning , hard work, and frustration paid off!

A beautifully handcrafted live edge white oak table !
It’s 3 slabs cut from the same tree , so the final width is over 50 inches !

Finished with Rubio Monocoat USA black!

Transformation complete !
Sprayed all the trim to a smooth as glass finish, and drenched the walls to follow!

What an amazing outcome ! There’s only one thing missing that’s coming soon… 👀👀👀

Proper painting is 99% prep !

Sanded all of the new & old trim, putty’d, caulked , and cleaned up again before any paint went down.

We sanded the drywall with 220 grit , fixed any nail pops, damage , etc .

Last but not least, we put a zipwall to keep all the dust & paint fumes from going inside . We have an air scrubber running the next couple days , and we run a powerful exhaust vent when we’re spraying .

The details matter!

Getting this beautiful dining room to life! We sealed it in with a Zipwall so there is no fumes to the rest of the house...

Getting this beautiful dining room to life!

We sealed it in with a Zipwall so there is no fumes to the rest of the house, and then began priming everything!

Once everything is painted the beautiful table will finish the room off !
