A familiar family of wood, with a voice all its own.

The Ohana TK-7 is built from solid Acacia, the same botanical family as Hawaiian Koa, bringing natural warmth and character to every song. It features a florentine cutaway to help reach those high notes and an open slotted headstock to add a touch of flair.

Made to be played, wherever the music takes you.

Built around the beauty of all-solid Mango wood, the Ohana 220G series keeps things classic with a comfortable standard body design and a warm, lively voice that lets the wood shine. Straightforward, playable, and ready for you to pick it up. What would you play first?

Ohana is very happy to have been part of the inaugural Oceanside Ukulele Festival this past weekend. The lineup featured Ohana Artists Yoshi Hana - 花城よしの & Sho Humphries as well as Friends of Ohana Bernadette Teaches Music & Daniel Ho. Nolan Yoshimoto also performed his set on a Ohana CK-BWE and killed it.

We were also excited to vend at the festival, being one of the few times of year we sell directly to the public face to face. It was lovely to see everyone who stopped by, and we extend a big congratulations to everyone who played the open mic.

We also were honored to giveaway ukuleles alongside Romero Creations - we hope the giveaway winners are enjoying their new instruments!

Ohana Artist Sho H demos the CK-70-6A, Ohana's alternate tuning 6-string ukulele, tuned Gg-Cc-E-A, with a low-g and a high-C. [G4G3--C5C4--E4--A4]

After our first rendition of the traditional 6-string ukulele, we revisited the drawing board to create the Alternate version in a fundamentally different approach to the string combinations. This multi-string model rings out with its all-solid spruce and mahogany builds in a smooth satin finish.

Ohana Ukuleles are available to check out at a combined 22 Los Angeles and Santa Monica Public Library locations, coming bundled with a few essential accessories to give you a good head start to learning the instrument.

Ohana’s Chris Wu and Daniel Ho led several training sessions for LAPL staff a few weeks ago to help kick the program off. We posted photos then, but we also wanted to share this more general PSA. If you’ve always wanted to try playing an instrument, but didn’t want to commit to buying one yet, this is a great way to just get started - all you need is a library card. We are excited to see where these instruments will take you!

Ohana also gave away one of our TK-55 Cedar/Rosewood ukuleles at the 10th Annual Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival, which features a beveled edge on the body for extra comfort while playing. Ohana's Chris Wu took the stage alongside festival organizer Mitch Chang to announce the giveaway winners - leading to a wholesome moment shortly after.

Thank you very much to Craig Chee for the beautiful camera work!
