West Michigan falls hit different. 🍁

The color on the trees along the lakeshore. The smell of woodsmoke coming through the neighborhood. The way everyone in Grand Rapids seems to collectively decide it's time to nest β€” candles out, blankets on, homes fully inhabited again.

It's the season that makes you want to love every room you're in.

If there's a room in your home that's been on the list β€” the living room that needs freshening, the bedroom that never got the color it deserved, the entryway that should make a better first impression β€” fall is the moment.

The holidays are closer than they feel. And there's nothing like walking into a freshly painted home when the temperature drops and everyone you love comes through the door.

Let's get it scheduled.

You don't need a renovation to fall back in love with your home.

No demo. No dumpster in the driveway. No weeks of living in a construction zone.

Just the right color, applied beautifully, over walls that were properly prepared.

That's it. That's the whole secret.

The rooms in this video didn't change in size and the light coming through the windows is the same.

But it feels like a completely different home.

That's what paint does when it's done right.

Ready to feel that about a room in your home?

First impressions start at the front door.

Fall is the best time to refresh yours β€” before the holidays bring everyone to it.

Whether you're drawn to a rich burgundy, a deep forest green, a moody navy, or a classic matte black, the right front door color does something the rest of the house can't: it sets the feeling before anyone steps inside.

One door. One day. Completely different curb appeal.

The hardest part of repainting a room isn't the paint. It's the decision. 🎨

Standing in front of a wall of swatches, trying to picture how a 2-inch chip translates to four walls, a ceiling, and your actual furniture β€” it's overwhelming. And the fear of getting it wrong is exactly what keeps beautiful rooms from ever happening.

Room Vision fixes that.

Upload a photo of your room. Apply any color directly to your walls. See your actual space β€” your lighting, your floors, your furniture β€” with the new color already on it.

Not a rendering. Not a guess. Your room.

Try it before your next appointment, before you visit a paint store, before you commit to anything. It takes two minutes and it's completely free.

The design trend taking over Grand Rapids homes in 2026 β€” and it's bolder than you think.

Color drenching. One color. Every surface. Walls, trim, ceiling, and woodwork β€” all painted the same shade.

It sounds like a lot. It looks like a masterpiece.

Here's why it works: when a single color wraps an entire room β€” including the trim and ceiling that normally break it up β€” the eye stops looking for edges and starts reading the space as a whole. Rooms feel larger. Ceilings feel taller. The color itself becomes richer and more dimensional than it ever could on a single wall.

The colors doing the most right now:

🟀 Mocha Mousse β€” warm, grounded, deeply cozy
🌿 Soft sage green β€” calm, restorative, effortlessly elegant
πŸ–€ Deep charcoal β€” dramatic without being cold
🧈 Butter yellow β€” unexpected, warm, completely alive in natural light

Color drenching works in any room β€” but it's transforming dining rooms, primary bedrooms, home offices, and libraries in particular. One deliberate, fully committed color turns a room into an experience.

Thinking about going all in on a room? That's exactly what we're here for.

Refresh your home for the new year with these five trending colors that will bring new energy to your home:

1. Mocha Mousse β€” Pantone Color of the Year 2026
A warm, rich brown with subtle chocolate and coffee undertones. Think cozy, grounded, and quietly luxurious. It works beautifully on accent walls, cabinets, and front doors β€” and pairs effortlessly with cream, terracotta, and warm whites.

2. Quietude β€” soft sage green
Muted, earthy greens are continuing their run from 2024–25 but have softened considerably. 2026's version is quieter and more gray-toned β€” less bold botanical, more calm and restorative. Ideal for bedrooms, home offices, and bathrooms.

3. Warm Terracotta & Clay
Adobe-inspired clay tones are moving from accent pieces into walls and cabinets. Rich but not overwhelming, these colors add warmth and texture to any room and photograph beautifully in natural light β€” which partly explains their surge on social media.

4. Butter Yellow
Soft, creamy yellow β€” not the saturated lemon of previous decades but a warm, almost neutral butter tone β€” is the unexpected neutral of 2026. It works in kitchens, entryways, and dining rooms where natural light can make it glow.

5. Deep Charcoal & Soft Black
Dark, grounded tones aren't going anywhere. In 2026 the trend has shifted from true black toward softer charcoals and near-blacks with warm or green undertones β€” colors that feel dramatic without being stark. Front doors, trim, and kitchen cabinets are where this color is making the biggest impact.
