Project Fire Buddies is one of the charities near and dear to our heart. Their mission and the people behind it are beyond amazing and we will forever be a supporter. The Annual Gala is one of the events we look forward to every year. We are honored to support and be a part of something great.

This year we sponsored 2 tables with 17 attendees, and our team had the most amazing time! There was no shortage of Cole Fire Protection representation on the dance floor! It was a great night raising money for a great cause.... Supporting children and families fighting their biggest battles of difficult medical situations. Providing them with "More Good Days".

Cole Fire Protection, Inc was asked to attend and contribute to training some of the top City of Chicago Fire Department Officals. We were asked to give input about our process and procedures of Standpipe Inspection and Testing in Highrise buildings in Chicago.

Additionally, the CFD wants to use our test procedures and documentation as the new standard for Standpipe Inspection and Testing for all contractors performing inspections and testing in the City of Chicago. Going above the minimum standard and giving clarification of a bunch of grey areas within NFPA 25 Standard that is often misinterpreted and under performed. We are honored that the professionalism of our company and our team is being recognized, and is being used to set the standard in the City of Chicago.

The team got some continuing education credits last night at Sprinkler Fitters Local Union 281, U.A. state of the art training facility. It was a very informative pump test and inspection class taught by Don Ott, and former employee (and now local 281 instructor) Nick Grage.

As of January 1st 2024, all Fire Sprinkler Inspectors are required to be individually licensed by the State of Illinois Fire Marshals Office. This licensing act requires 16 hours of continuing education over 2 years for Inspectors License renewals. Hats off to our team for being proactive and getting a jump on their continuing education credits for the next renewal.

Our team continues to show their dedication and professionalism, as well as making a huge impact in setting the standard in Inspections and Testing in the City of Chicago.

Collaboratively, all entities involved continue to strive for one thing.....
