Monitored and planted mostly my client's gardens and ironically, delayed my own.

So here we are in August and tomatoes are still green.

But have to admit it's still exciting.

When your friend spontaneously did a photoshoot and came out with a side of tears. 🥹

She stands in my garden, underneath the arches where the tomatoes she planted will grow. She holds onto our hug, I embrace her.She is my neighbor. She helps me with my garden when my body is not able. More than that, she planted in a way that wouldn't require as much tending.

It's always a treat to meet new people who are interested in growing their own food.

This time I tried bringing planter samples to give a better idea that even a small space, when done right, can give you the harvest that you need.

By mixing plants in your container, you can get a good variety of what you can serve your table.

It's not this heat, or pests, or falling blooms.

In between being a wife and mother, a full-time job, summer activities, and a dream-business-grower, it's harder to find time to steadily tend all the gardens while keeping my own intact.

I'm still filming but haven't had the capacity to edit and upload any reels or any form of content. Add that with a mountain of paranoia whether it will reach the right people and it's a perfect pot of excuse to not post at all.

But after listening to one of Leslie | Local Business Marketing Coach for Service Providers podcasts, I figured trying little bursts won't hurt.

This year, I find myself making everyone's gardens happy and healthy, while mine has been somewhat neglected and planted wayyyy late than I wanted to.

While timing is a regular factor I teach in my garden journey, I need to be constantly reminded that:

I'm not a farmer losing my window. I am a gardener that continously tends and explores.

Late doesn't mean I can't completely do it.

Same thing as when I started this garden coaching business and people telling me that "my season has passed".

So this year, instead of making it Instagram worthy, I'll show you all the shenanigans in the "testing site" - my own backyard. Not perfect, just done and taking notes as it goes.
