Back to posting some farm updates......

We planted a little over 700 zinnias this weekend which took much longer than I thought it would 😥😥. These were long overdue to be planted so they are a bit leggy and sad looking but they will be okay, I hope.

The dahlias we planted in early May are looking fabulous, just a bit weedy. We have tubers leftover from our sale to plant so looking forward to that.

On another note, tomorrow is the last day to sign up for our July-Aug CSA subscription. They will start around mid July and go for 6 weeks. We extended our Aug-Sept spots until July 1st so you still have time to sign up. This group will start mid Aug and go for 6 weeks. If there are any questions, feel free to reach out.

We are open on this windy and beautiful day!! Sorry, we are a bit delayed today. The reason......we have a new stand now at .coffee. How exciting is that?!?!?! Go check it out!!!

We have peony bouquets and Dahlia tuber grab bags at the flower stand. These varieties are what we grow at the farm, so they are the best ones you can get. $10 for 5 tubers is a great deal for dahlia tubers, in my opinion. So, grab these beauties. I will be planting the rest soon at the farm.

The new flower stand is open today with peonies, ranunculus, anemones & garden rose bouquets. Grab these beauties for your memorial day weekend to remember those who sacrificed their life!! 💐💐🇺🇲🇺🇲

Just some things to keep in mind:

🌸 We are a self-serve flower stand.

🌸 We moved the flower stand from under the tree to infront of the house so it's more visible.

🌸 Some of the flowers might be closed up, we harvested the flowers at a certain stage so you can enjoy them longer. I promise, they will open up more!

🌸 The buckets the bouquets are in are not for sale, please only grab the bouquets. The jars, however, you can take home. If you don't want to keep them, you can return them at the flower stand.

🌸 This is the first time we are opening the new flower stand, let us know any feedbacks you have. We would love to hear them!

We have lots of peonies, ranunculus & anemones that blew open with the heat in the last couple days!! So, Mat & Sargeant has been busy.......with what you ask??

He has been building me a new & improved flower stand!!!! I am beyond excited to open the new flower stand. It's still a work in progess with the painting, signage and all that but it will do for the time being.

We are still contemplating if we should open the stand this weekend with the rain coming. If you think we should, drop a flower emoji in the comments 🌷🌸🌺🌻🏵🌹

Can't wait to share all the flowers in the new stand!!!!

This was our fall planted ranunculus and anemones, as you can see, we had a crop failure. This might be due to the severe cold weather we had or our own fault. Either way, we were not expecting this.

We do have some flowers, but just not enough to share with everyone. So, we will not be offering any flowers for Mother's Day! 😢😢

If you are still looking to give your mom something special for Mother's Day, we have our CSA subscriptions and gift certificates available.

This is the reality of flower farming and crop lose. All that hard work we did over the fall and winter, not to mention the money, just went down the drain. Don't worry, we will recover and expect to be back soon.

We are hoping to have peonies and our second round of ranunculus and anemones blooming in mid or end of May.

This weekend was one of the most rewarding as far as planting goes. We planted over 500 dahlias, 533 to be exact!!!!

I can't believe we were able to plant this much in one weekend. This is a big farm job checked of the list. We are very proud of ourselves for getting them in the ground this early in the season. We can't wait for all these to bloom and share them with you!!

Talking about sharing, are you interested in growing some dahlias in your garden? We have plenty of extras available so you can enjoy them just as much as we do. I will list the names below so you can look them up. Let us know if you are interested. All tubers are $6, might even get some for free.

After being sick for a week, we are back. We planted some hardy annuals on this warm, sunny day. I even got some tan going on and it's only April. This season is going to be a hot one!!
