We have more dahlia bunches at the flower stand today. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make a lot of bouquets as I had surgery done on Thursday but my hubby has been helping me so much with everything, I wouldn't know what I would do without him. Shoutout to all the hubby heroes out there!!!

As for the flowers, the frost that we were supposed to get on Tuesday missed us and I don't see any at least for the next week. So, we will have flowers until then.

The flowers are looking a little tired and so are we but we will keep it going until the frost.

We are open! Mixed dahlia bouquets and 1 dahlia bunch is available at the stand.

If you have been waiting to grab one, now is the time because we have frost coming on Wednesday. We will try to clear of the frost and extend the season a little longer. If it's a freeze, the season will be done. So, don't wait anymore.....

The flower stand is stocked with all the prettiest fall flowers! We are doing a special promotion today, buy one get one half off. That's 2 bouquets for $30 instead of $40.

The promo is only at the flower stand. Once we sell out, there will be no restock today. If today goes well, I might do the promo tomorrow as well. So, stop by the stand before they sell out. Limited quantities available.

We are sharing some tips on how to keep your flowers fresh longer and extend the vase life after you bring them home. Just like us, flowers need some TLC, as well.

- Start with a clean vase with fresh water. They say you should be able to drink out of the vase, that's how clean the vase and water should be. Don't forget the flower food!

- Cut the stem at an angle so the flowers can absorb water easily.

- Remove any leaves below the water line. This helps with keeping the water less murky and keep the bacteria away.

- Change the water every 1 or 2 days. Flowers need fresh water just like we do.

- Everytime you change the water, trim the stems about an inch. The stems get clogged and cutting them will help absorb water better.

- Keep flowers away from direct sunlight and heat. Flowers love sunlight when they are growing but not after they are cut.

- Remove any spent or wilted flowers. Some flowers have longer vase life than other so removing any spent flowers will keep water from getting cloudy and extend the life of the flowers.
