Bixby Electric Inc. (BEI) is a New Mexico Corporation engaged in electrical construction, testing, and service.

The company's main office and yard are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico with an area of operation spanning the state of New Mexico and the W Our areas of construction include industrial, commercial and infrastructure electrical installations. Our construction specialties include airfield lighting and NAVAID installations; traffic signalization, and roadway and sports lighting; industrial electri

cal, including water and wastewater installations; health care facilities; Intelligent Transportation Systems; directional boring and vertical drilling; lighting retrofits; solar energy; and medium voltage installations, including industrial, and underground and overhead distribution. Our Service Department provides service and maintenance not only to industrial, commercial, and residential customers, but also provides airfield lighting, traffic signal, and roadway lighting maintenance and emergency service to state and local agencies. Additionally, many of our construction and service technicians maintain MSHA certifications for mine and pit work. Bixby Electric also provides infrared and other electrical equipment testing; power quality and ARC Flash studies; and commissioning services for its clients, both private and government. Bixby is a member of both the Northern New Mexico Independent Electrical Contractors Association and the Associated Contractors of New Mexico. The company utilizes the four year apprenticeship training program of the NNMIEC to provide training for its indentured electrical apprentices.

Bixby Electric wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We want to express gratitude for everyone in the Bixby family and all the companies that allow us to continue to grow and stay involved in our community. Our offices will be closed Friday, December 24-Friday, December 31st, with minimal staffing.

With very full and thankful hearts, we were able to deliver 549 pounds of food to St Felix Pantry in Rio Rancho.

Thank you to everyone who donated food, cash, gift cards and time into getting these donations in the door for this very worthy organization. Every dollar donated and all the food collected goes directly to help those in the community who are in need of a little assistance.

Family and Community

From potlucks to baseball games, Bixby Electric strives to provide a work environment that supports both the Family and our Community. In the recent months, Bixby has helped the San Juan Diego Friary replace their sidewalks to meet City of ABQ requirements. We support Little League Baseball, Wrestling, Softball, and many other Athletic Teams across the metro. Bixby also supports Children’s Cancer Fund and numerous school and local charity events.

Bixby includes as much of the staff as possible in our community and internal events. Whether it be barbeques before a long holiday weekend, a night out at Isotopes baseball, or golf events for many of the contractor and charity organizations we support, our employees always represent us well. Even though the world has tried to restrict some of our “old fashioned” ways, a potluck at the office is never too far away.

A special thanks from Bixby Electric to all our employees, staff, and community partners for being such great supporters and neighbors of these wonderful organizations that Bixby is so proud to be a part of.
