We welcome Sajan Lama to the Buffalo Design Team!

Sajan is a Nepalese emerging architect passionate about designing meaningful spaces that contribute to the betterment of society. He has strong skills in architectural graphics, rendering, 3D modeling, sketching, and physical model making.

Since childhood, Sajan has been interested in science, mathematics, and the arts, developing a strong creative approach that continues to shape his work and perspective.

His diverse interests and studies led him to choose architecture, a field that brings together his passion for creativity, technical thinking, and problem-solving.

Sajan is particularly interested in parametric, vernacular, and sustainable architecture, exploring how technology, cultural identity, local materials, and environmental responsibility can come together to create thoughtful and responsive spaces.

Work is underway for the Homolovi Village, located at
701 W 3rd Street in Winslow, AZ!

This two story, ground up complex will have a shared community building that includes a main office, laundry, mailboxes and a shared multipurpose room. The gated community will include a site wall with decorative metal panels, landscaping and a playground.

We welcome Sabin Shrestha to our Buffalo Design team! Sabin brings over 14 years of experience from Nepal! He looks forward to expanding his knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM), U.S. construction systems, and architectural practices. Through his career, has come to view architecture as more than just designing buildings. He views architecture as a way to improve people’s lives and experiences.

His interest in architecture began at a young age after witnessing social inequalities in his community. He noticed those who lacked means for adequate shelter, and it inspired him to pursue a career focused on creating meaningful and accessible spaces.

Sabin found inspiration through architect Laurie Baker, whose work demonstrated that architecture can be affordable, and socially responsible to all communities. He is particularly interested in creating spaces that promote mental health and well-being.

Sabin is fascinated by the distinctive Pueblo-style architecture and culture that New Mexico has to offer! He looks forward to learning more and we are excited to have Sabin join the herd!
