Small deck we did last week. Even the smallest jobs get the same details. Footings,2x10 dimensional lumber, double carry beams, solid railings. Balusters cut to fit and not ran long. Solar lights, #1 decking and permits because thats important to us and it should be important to the customer.

There's a reason why we dont use composite materials from the big box store.
Ive been called out to look at 2 decks that were only 2 years old and this is the problem we have found. Boards cupping and boards popping up. And the worst part is neither of the contractors will do anything about it.

A ground level deck we just completed in lake harmony last week.
Even on a ground level deck we still dug footings in the ground. This way this deck will always be level and not move with the ground.

Heres a huge deck we built in arrowhead lakes. After waiting for the lumber to dry out we sanded and applied a pre conditioner and 1 coat of stain.
