So how do I get the two hole punch bulletin boards to line out perfectly? Well it takes 2-3 hrs per board.

Assuming you have the design all written down so that you know where every mark goes...:

You have to pencil in the outside borders and then using those lines, pencil in where each plexiglass board will go. That tells you where the holes need to be drilled, on an angle mind you, for them to line up. Then you Drill the holes out using a jig rigged for the angle, upside down mind you. Then you sand off everything you just drew on. This time lapse video should give you an idea.

Now it’s to to stain, then poly, then glue in the dowels, and finally the borders. I’d say from start to finish, including stain & poly drying time, it’s a 2 day project per board...😳

I’m sure glad I love what I do...😎

POSSIBLE FRAUD ALERT!!!

POSSIBLE FRAUD ALERT!!!

I just received a call that my caller ID showed as being the “Otero County Clerk’s Office”. The caller told me that I was about to have a server at my house to deliver a court summons for a law suit against me. They said that I had received a 7 day notice to be in court but hadn’t attended.

They had my correct name, birthdate, and last 4 of my Social Security number (I did not tell them any of that, they read it to me).

Here’s where they screwed up, 1st they told me that my “wife or daughter Melody” would also have to appear as she was part of the case (impossible), and that if I didn’t sign the letter when it was delivered to my house they would deliver it to my place of work. Uh, I don’t have a place of work, I’m retired...😳🤔

That’s when I listened more carefully to the background noise. From having been in the clerk’s office many times, from knowing that the county clerk doesn’t deal with court summonses, from personally having worked in a large call center and the large amount of noise from other call representatives in the background, I began to think it was a scam. So I said, “One quick question, who is the county clerk?” He said “I’m sorry what was that?” I said, “What is the name of your boss, the county clerk?” And the next sound I heard was a click.

Then I of course called my friend Denise, the Deputy County Clerk, and asked if this was a legit call of some kind, and of course it wasn’t.

I imagine that the next step after scaring me about some huge lawsuit was to tell me that I could simply pay it off over the phone. I just never let it get that far.

I am going to file a police report about this and see if there’s a national agency that covers this possible fraud and report it there as well. But I wanted to get this out to our community quickly so you guys would be on alert. Please feel free to share this, it did happen to me just now and is legit. God bless you all! - Chez

This is my USAF Logo box. I primarily work with cherry for the wood, but I also can make these out of red oak, poplar, walnut, or whatever type of wood you prefer. I use a variety of stains and finishes so that the final product will match your taste.

As you'll see from the pictures, the size of the case depends on the items that you put in the case and if you want a 2D, or 3D box (Please go to our video folder to see the 3D box, it's much easier to see in a video).

Depending on size of the case, the type of wood, and the style (2D or 3D), prices vary from $200 thru over $300.

Call us at 575-446-6242 for a personal design session and quote. Or go to our FB page, In Honor Of YOU ( https://www.facebook.com/InHonorOfYou/). We look forward to working with you!

Our full beverage collection! These are some of the gift boxes and glasses we've engraved so far. However, If you have a particular design or type of glass in mind, let us know and we'll see what we can do!

The coasters you see in this picture retail at $5 for 4 coasters. Yes, we can stain them any color you'd like, and yes we'll be happy to personalize them at no additional charge. You tell us what you want your coasters to say, and we'll do it!

If you have a unique image or want us to create a graphic for you, we work exclusively with Pixels by Obrince for that. His quality and turnaround times are off the charts and his prices are extremely reasonable. He's a 5 Star in our book!

Please go to our page, then look in the photo albums to see each product and their prices.

Note: Note: While some of the cases include the glasses, none of the cases include the wine... (nice try :) ). Also, no Scotch, Wine, or Beer was wasted in the taking of these pictures... ;)

New Category. Once again I was asked to make something new. I'm beginning to get more comfortable with taking on things that I've never done before. This folder will be for Urns that I'm asked to make. The 1st one was a very simple design, you'll see the new design for a Flag Case with Urn Base as well.

Prices for these urns depend on the wood used (all of these below are made from Cherry with a red mahogany stain and a clear gloss coat, but of course we can make them with whatever wood/stain/gloss you want), the size of the urn (single or double), and of course the engraving. Each urn is custom made to order.

Call us at 575-446-6242 for a personal design session and quote. We look forward to working with you!

The final bar video!! It’s loaded in the truck and ready to deliver tomorrow! Wooo Hoooo!😎

03/24/2019

The bar is finished!!!!

This video is of Jason and I moving it back into the shop and reassembling it. It really only took about 15 minutes to assemble. It comes apart in 5 pieces and goes back together like a glove.

I’m just going to do a couple of touchups and deliver it Monday morning. God I can’t wait to get it out of here. 3 weeks of design and build, but she’s done. I’ll take one more regular video after the touchups to show you what it looks like. I’m fairly happy with it. 😎

Sorry for not posting for a couple of days, but the bartop required a ton of work.

Lesson learned, the final bartop result is 1000% dependent on the prep and reading the instructions for the pour about 28 times. It came out way better than I expected, almost perfect. The epoxy I used is so good, it’s almost Chez proof...

Very happy now...😎😎😎

This is the basic design I'm building. A 6' ft long bar, about 44" high and 30" deep. No sink in my design, but there will be a beer tap for the kegeratoir that will go in the base.

Of, course, the end result won't look anything like this, but its the general idea....;)
