We are looking for someone with a diversified skill set who can confidently handle a wide variety of residential and commercial projects, including:

• General home repairs & maintenance
• Drywall repairs & patching
• Tile installation & repair
• Flooring installation & repairs
• Painting & finishing work
• Lighting & light fixture installation
• Basic electrical work within a handyman’s scope
• Basic plumbing repairs & fixture replacement
• Doors, trim, molding & cabinetry
• Deck building & repairs
• Fence building & repairs
• Retaining walls
• Masonry work
• Landscaping & exterior repairs
• Assembly & installation
• General property maintenance and repairs

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

💰 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR POSITION

This is an Independent Contractor position. We pay by the project/job rather than an hourly wage, with compensation based on the scope, size, and requirements of each individual project.

We are looking for someone who wants to take on a variety of projects and has the skills to confidently handle work from small repairs to larger construction and property improvement projects.

Another project taking shape!

Last year, A HandyMan & His Wife had the privilege of installing this beautiful 6-foot pressure-treated pine privacy fence. This year, we're back to help bring the next phase of this outdoor vision to life with a floating platform deck!

Last night, the guys installed the joist hangers, which are heavy-duty galvanized metal connectors that securely attach the deck joists to the framing. Joist hangers are one of the MOST important structural components of a deck because they help distribute weight evenly, provide additional strength, prevent the joists from shifting over time, and ensure the deck meets proper building standards for safety and durability. It's one of those details most people never see, but it's critical to building a deck that's made to last and be safe for you and your family/friends for years to come!

We couldn't be more proud of how hard our guys have been working. They've been putting in long days and balancing multiple projects without sacrificing the quality of their craftsmanship. During the week, they are completing a drywall project, and this weekend they're tackling this floating deck while also continuing work on a retaining wall and deck for another client.

And the momentum doesn't stop there! We also have another deck currently under construction for a different customer, with another deck installation coming up in September. Tis the season for decks and fencing and everyone wants to get theirs built before the cold settles in! Weather permitting, we will be doing projects like this well into the month of October and even November if the weather is kind to us.

We take great pride in selecting some of the best contractors, to help and step in when they are needed the most. Sometimes our schedule is full and we don't want to let clients down, so we will call on our network of guys to show up and help.

Yesterday was one of those days. RSservices didn't just come out and hook up plumbing. Watching him work dilligently, I witnessed all the moving parts in a trade like plumbing. I also got a peek inside his tool bag 😁🤪In addition to that he made our job request an absolute priority. He took his time and did a phenomenal job installing this double sink vanity.

He's licensed, bonded and insured and he deals with not only plumbing, but water testing and treatment services, wells, water softeners and more. At A HandyMan & His Wife we offer some minor plumbing services, but when it comes to the things that require a licensed tradesman, Paul is your guy. And our guy too. When we find someone valuable, we hold onto them and stay loyal. For many years to come, Paul is that guy for us too!

We love calling on our contractors when we need them the most. RSservices is an excellent addition to our contractor network with his experience in plumbing, water testing and treatment, wells and more!
