Below is and email we received recently; thank you Barbara for sharing such great feedback with us!
"I do not have any social media accounts, including Google, so I am unable to submit a review online...which is why I am sending an email instead to Nick's immediate superior.
I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to Roto-Rooter for plumbing repair services rendered at my home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. When I called the other day to schedule a service call, the first available service tech was Nick who just happened to be in between jobs and was able to arrive at my home within 30 minutes of my phone call. I was immediately struck by his very friendly and respectful manner when he introduced himself to me. Upon asking what he could do to help me, I explained that the toilet in the spare bath was running and that the shutoff valve near the floor next to the toilet was corroded and stuck. He assessed the problems and advised that I just needed a new flapper in the tank and that the shutoff valve was beyond repair and would have to be replaced. I also explained that I had a new sink faucet and new tub and shower fixtures on order and that I would be picking them up from Home Depot in a couple of days and would like for him to install everything for me. He quoted a price for the new flapper and shutoff valve and then went right to work on the repairs. I would like to note that he could have told me that I needed to have everything replaced in the tank and I would have been none the wiser, but he was very honest and quoted me only what was absolutely needed. He finished everything in less than an hour and then told me before he left to just call back when my new faucets and shower fixtures were in and he would come back out and install them for me. He arrived again a few days later and began installing the new fixtures. The fittings and fixtures that were being replaced were the original parts that had been installed by the builder in 1990 and were very corroded from the Cuyahoga Falls hard water and just plain age and it took some time to get them all removed. He took his time and worked very carefully so as not to cause any damage to the old existing PVC pipe and copper tubing. As he began running into issues regarding tight spaces and very old and outdated plumbing configurations, it took some really creative thinking on his part to figure out how to adapt and reconfigure all the old corroded (and in some cases just plain sloppy and faulty) original plumbing to the new modern fixtures. After all his hard work, he was able to transform my totally outdated bathroom into a whole new beautiful bathroom. His patience and expertise and extreme conscientiousness is appreciated more than words can say. Anyone else might have just thrown up their hands and walked away due to the unanticipated issues that he encountered as he got deeper into the project, but he stuck with it and wanted everything to be done exactly as I had envisioned it. His creative thinking and plumbing skills saved the day for me and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Nick and thank you Roto-Rooter for a job exceptionally well done. "
