Don’t burn your house down, just call

Customer states…..”We smell smoke when the lights are on in this one room….we can’t figure it out”

We investigated. We found the culprit.
It was the light fixture.
The light fixture was eating itself. 🔥
Turns out Edison bulbs are gorgeous — and absolutely feral. Those vintage vibes come with vintage heat output, and plastic rattan shades don’t exactly appreciate that.

Pro tip: Swap to LED Edison bulbs. Same look. Same vibe.
This is exactly why you call a pro. We fix the stuff homeowners didn’t know was a problem — until it was definitely a problem.

This wasn't a paint job. This was a full exterior restoration.

This home had significant siding rot — not in one spot, but all the way around the house. Years of moisture getting behind failing Georgia Pacific siding had caused damage that no amount of paint could fix. The siding had to go. All of it.

Here's what this project involved:

→ Complete removal of all existing Georgia Pacific siding and trim
→ Full inspection of sheathing and structure underneath
→ Replacement with James Hardie Smooth Plank siding — a fiber cement product that resists rot, moisture, and insects
→ All new trim installed
→ Oil-based primer on every surface
→ Two coats of Sherwin Williams Duration exterior paint

Why does the material and process matter?

James Hardie fiber cement siding doesn't rot like wood-based products. It holds paint longer, handles Georgia's humidity, and won't attract termites. Sherwin Williams Duration is a premium exterior paint with built-in flexibility — it expands and contracts with temperature swings without cracking. And starting with an oil-based primer on new siding gives you the strongest possible bond between surface and finish coat.

We built this screened porch from the ground up over the homeowner’s existing deck, adding wrapped posts, a metal roof, and a tongue-and-groove ceiling to create a space they can enjoy in just about any weather.

Not every renovation is massive. Sometimes it’s just about making things a little nicer, a tad more cozy, maybe cleaner, neater and overall refreshing. For this project, we replaced some old dilapidated flooring with a nicer looking, higher quality LVP. After patching about 7-8 holes throughout this basement, we got started with a full repaint using Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray. This project turned out so nice.
