Got a call from a neighbor yesterday morning asking for help on moving day. Big thanks to Evan Henslee for creating some urgency and helping out a friend in their hour of need. He did a terrific job in getting the house ready for its transition.

And don’t worry, he blew off the clippings at the end. 😅

What’s funny about lawn care is that word…care. Most of the calls we get are folks that are tired of the three-man team going in and out of their property in 35 minutes and the grass looks great but none of the hedges got trimmed and the weeds are still growing in the garden.

This yard for an 85 year old neighbor in BHL is maybe our biggest transformation yet! I didn’t even know they had a bird bath back there. She plans to plant a bunch of drift roses. Big thanks to Danny for lending me his tiller. Turned out great!

What a Friday! We have some new clients in Burnt Hickory Lakes. Took us a few hours but this is the wow factor we love to see! We pulled the weeds, laid the pine straw, removed the tree limbs, shaped the hedges, and cut that grass! It’s also pretty fun getting noticed by all the neighbors walking by!!!

Two weeks ago we started this venture with zero clients. Figuring out insurance, payroll, routes, and a CRM was fun, not terribly intimidating. Figuring out where our next customer would come from was daunting, but the payoff for consistency, making it personal, and creating value has been amazing.

As of today, 10 homeowners have joined the team! We’re so grateful and are committed to excellence and relationships.

There’s no shortage of help needed in our neighborhood. Three of our clients are widows and really have their hands full. This morning, we removed two years of debris, ivy, weeds, and overgrowth so the grandbabies have a place to play. I’ll get some after pictures soon. Our esteem is very high!

The rest of the day was spent mowing and spraying about 6000SF of brush and weeds. Hoping I don’t grow a third eye. 😂😂😂
