A recent resort infrastructure project designed by Phuket Property Solutions and Phuket Irrigation Solutions: a fully automatic water filtration and pumping system capable of treating and delivering up to 8,000 litres per hour.

The system combines manganese, resin and carbon filtration with automatic backwashing and regeneration. Two pumps alternate operation, with backup capacity built in. UV disinfection and controlled chlorination provide further protection against harmful bacteria.

From a single property to a large resort, we can design the water system to suit the job.

Another important step in our sub-drain installation.
Once the sub-drains are installed, we surround and cover the system with drainage rock. This allows surface and groundwater to naturally fall through the stone, enter the sub-drain and be carried safely away from the property.
The result? No more water sitting around the sides of the building, foundations or landscaped areas.
The stone can be left exposed as a clean drainage strip, or covered with soil, sand and landscaping depending on how each owner wants the area finished.
Most of it will eventually disappear from sight — but underneath, it will be protecting the property for years to come.

💧 ANOTHER DRAINAGE PROJECT – A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHALLENGE!
While our little Kubota is busy tackling the hillside project, another Phuket Property Solutions team has been hard at work on a residential property with a very different water problem.
This property has been suffering from rising damp, with moisture affecting the lower walls and causing paint to flake and deteriorate.
Simply repainting the walls won’t solve the underlying problem. We need to address where the water is coming from and give it somewhere else to go.
Our solution is a combination of waterproofing and sub-surface drainage.
We’ve waterproofed the exposed structural beams to help prevent moisture being absorbed and travelling up into the block walls. Alongside the building, we’re installing a geotextile-wrapped sub-drain system, surrounded by drainage aggregate, to collect excess ground water and direct it into the property’s perimeter drainage system.
The aim is to reduce the moisture building up around the foundations and lower walls, rather than repeatedly treating the visible symptoms.
And unlike our larger hillside project, there’s no room for machinery here!
Every trench has been excavated by hand, and every section of drainage installed by hand, carefully working around the building, existing pipework and tight residential spaces.

More finishing touches going in, and this one is really starting to come together. 🔨🏡
The team is now well into the final fixtures and fittings — installing the bathroom vanities and sanitaryware, fitting and aligning the shower screens, completing lighting and electrical details, and working through the final decorating and touch-ups.
Attention to detail makes the difference. Throughout the project, our team has been using laser levels to ensure the tiling is installed perfectly straight and aligned. Now, as the furniture and bathroom units are being installed, the lasers are out again to make sure everything lines up exactly as it should.
It’s a small detail, but one that makes a big difference to the quality of the finished job.
This is always one of the most satisfying stages of a renovation. After all the demolition, construction and preparation, you finally start seeing all the individual elements come together as finished rooms.
Still a few jobs to tick off the list, but we’re getting very close now.
