For many homes in Thailand, a hybrid solar and battery system is the most practical solution.

We recently completed this fully off-grid residential solar and battery project in southern Thailand.

For an off-grid home, installing more panels or batteries is not enough. The complete system must be designed around the property’s daytime use, nighttime consumption, peak loads, cloudy-weather conditions and future electricity needs.

The solar panels, Deye inverters and BYD batteries were selected and configured to work together as one complete energy system.

This week, our team completed two more residential solar installations in Thailand:

Both systems were installed with hybrid inverters, so batteries can be added in the future if the homeowners’ needs change.

After carefully reviewing their electricity bills and daily energy consumption, we didn’t recommend batteries today.

Indoor battery installation — clean, cool, and safe.
