Vacon offers a comprehensive range of common DC bus drive products. The product family covers a number of front-end units, inverter units and brake chopper units in the entire power range up to 2.2 MW and from 380 V to 690 V.

All the functionality of VACON 20, with a unique, s**ce-saving cooling solution. Quick installation and the lack of heat loss mean it works as a great OEM drive.

VACON 20 Cold Plate – Flexibility in Cooling

The VACON 20 Cold Plate has all the same functionality as the VACON 20, including built-in PLC functionality according to IEC61131-3 and a similar power range. What sets it apart is a unique passive cooling solution thatallows the drive to work under the most demanding circumstances. Heat loss in AC drives can often affect surrounding machinery, particularly in compact drives that are mounted in a tight s**ce without sufficient airflow.VACON 20 Cold Plate’s special cooling solution sidesteps this issue. Heat loss from the drive can be reduced in twoways: by being attached to a heat sink with large cooling ribs, or alternatively, by utilizing a liquid-cooled solution. You can choose the best solution depending on the situation. Easy and quick installation make it a great OEM drive,as does the slender, economical design which allows it to fit into the tightest of s**ces.
