Founded in 2013 by partners Nita Yuvaboon and Prow Puttorngul, a design team practicing architecture and interior design based in Bangkok.

With over 10 years of experience in architecture, our scale of works ranges from newly constructed building to interior and exterior renovation, exhibition, custom furniture and master planning. Through many inspiring research sessions and numerous collaborations with creative thinkers, entrepreneurs, engineers, designers and visual artists, we meticulously develop our design from conceptually eng

Little Stove Cafe - The Interplay of Light & Texture

The gentle illumination highlights the hand-drawn, layered terrazzo, emphasizing its organic pattern and texture.

The carefully curated color palette of the terrazzo wall follows these artistic lines, creating a seamless blend of light and material that brings warmth and depth to the space through the half-elliptical skylight above.

Upon entering, the visitors can take a glimpse of the bread making process through the glass window cut along the lines of the terrazzo layers, portraying the cave from the children’s book “The Stump and Friends”.

ฐานของอาคาร บ้านตอไม้ (Little Stump Playground) ถูกออกแบบมาจากรูปทรงของ "ตอไม้" ที่โดนตัดแต่ยังมี "รากไม้" ที่หยั่งลึกยึดกับดินไว้ให้มั่นคง และกลายมาเป็นที่พักพิงของสิ่งมีชีวิตต่าง ๆ ซึ่งในบริบทนี้ก็คือ พื้นที่แห่งความสนุกสนานสำหรับเด็ก ๆ

'ปลายราก' ในแต่ละมุมของอาคารบ้านตอไม้ ได้ถูกวาดให้มีขนาดเล็ก-ใหญ่ และ สูง-ต่ำ แตกต่างกันไป เพื่อความเป็นธรรมชาติ และ ดูสมจริง ด้วยเส้นโค้งที่ถูกลดทอน เพื่อให้การก่อสร้างทำได้ง่ายมากขึ้น

การใช้ 'อิฐมอญก้อนเล็ก' มาสร้างพื้นผิวของรากไม้ มาเรียงรอบเสาให้ได้ใกล้เคียงกับโค้งตามแบบ ช่างก่ออิฐและฉาบปูน ต้องอาศัยความประณีต และความแม่นยำ ซึ่งทำให้รายละเอียดนี้ออกมาเป็นที่น่าพอใจ

'การเจาะช่องหน้าต่าง' ที่เลียนแบบโพรงไม้ ซึ่งทำให้ตัวอาคารดูเหมือนบ้านของสัตว์เล็ก ๆ ในป่า และเด็ก ๆ ก็สามารถเข้าไปสร้างประสบการณ์การเล่นที่ไม่ใช่แค่สนุก แต่ยังช่วยให้พวกเขาได้จินตนาการถึงโลกธรรมชาติรอบตัวอีกด้วย

ต้นไม้เล็ก ๆ รอบอาคารบ้านตอไม้ ที่ทั้งปลูกและขึ้นเองตามธรรมชาติ ทำให้ตัวอาคารเสมือนเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของป่า

รายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ ทั้งหมดนี้ ช่วยกันทำให้ บ้านตอไม้ จากในนิทาน " บ้านตอไม้กับสหายนักซ่อม" เป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่มีชีวิตขึ้นมาจริงๆ

The Little Stump Playground is designed to resemble a tree stump—cut down but still deeply rooted in the ground, providing shelter for tiny living creatures. In this context, it becomes a space for children’s play and imagination.

Root-like structures extend from the building into the ground, varying in size and height to create a natural and organic feel.

Brickwork details around the “root” structure, done with small terracotta bricks to shape the roots, requiring precise craftsmanship for a smooth, curved finish.

Free-form window openings mimic tree hollows, making the building feel like a woodland home for small creatures and providing spaces for children to explore.

Surrounding trees—both planted and naturally grown—help blend the structure seamlessly into the landscape.

Every small detail brings the storybook “The Stump and Friends” to life as a real, living piece of architecture. ✨

🌳Nature Play 🌿
at Little Stove and Little Stump

พื้นที่สนามเด็กเล่น ของโครงการ Little Stove & Little Stump ถูกออกแบบภายใต้แนวคิด Nature Play หรือ การเล่นในสภาวะแวดล้อมธรรมชาติ
เราต้องการออกแบบพื้นที่เล่นที่เปิดกว้างต่อจินตนาการของเด็กๆ ให้เด็กๆได้มีอิสระในการออกแบบการเล่น ด้วยตัวเอง จากสิ่งของที่เจอรอบตัวไม่ว่าจะเป็น ก้อนหิน ดิน ทราย น้ำ หรือ กิ่งไม้ ใบไม้

การเล่นในสภาพแวดล้อมธรรมชาตินี้ นอกจากเด็กๆได้เสริมสร้างจินตนาการ จากการไม่ถูกตีกรอบวิธีการเล่น ยังเป็นการช่วยเสริมภูมิคุ้มกันทางร่างกายอีกด้วย!

เพราะโครงการ LITTLE STOVE & LITTLE STUMP เกิดขึ้นมาพร้อมๆ กับการคิดสร้างสรรค์หนังสือนิทานภาพเรื่อง “บ้านตอไม้กับสหายนักซ่อม“ ร่วมกับ สำนักพิมพ์สานอักษร และนักเขียน จาก LITTLEBLACKOZ STUDIO
ที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของสัตว์ชนิดต่างๆที่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันฟื้นฟู ซ่อมแซม ถ้ำและตอไม้ที่รกร้างให้กลับกลายมาใช้งานได้อีกครั้ง
โดยหนังสือนิทานใช้ตัวสถานที่และตัวสถาปัตยกรรมมาเป็นฉากของเรื่อง

ในช่วงเริ่มต้นของการออกแบบ Site Concept ทีมของเราจึงมีภาพของผืนป่า ที่ถูกแบ่งออกมาเป็น 4 โซนหลักๆ เพื่อสะท้อนถึงองค์ประกอบจากธรรมชาติ ระบบนิเวศ และสิ่งมีชีวิต เพื่อให้เด็กๆที่ได้เข้ามาเล่นที่นี่ได้เชื่อมโยงสถานที่จากในจินตนาการกับสถานที่จริง

โซนริมคลอง เปรียบเสมือน แม่น้ำ
โซนคาเฟ่ เปรียบเสมือน ถ้ำ
โซนเพลย์กราวด์ เปรียบเสมือน ตอไม้
โซนสนามเด็กเล่นภายนอก เปรียบเมือน ป่า

การออกแบบพื้นที่เล่น และ พื้นที่สวน ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากถิ่นที่อยู่ของสัตว์ชนิดต่างๆ มีที่ให้ปีนเหมือนอยู่บนต้นไม้ มีอุโมงค์เหมือนถ้ำ หรือโพรงต้นไม้ ให้เด็กๆได้มุด ได้เล่นซ่อนแอบ มีเนินหญ้าที่เหมือนเนินเขา บ่อทราย บ่อน้ำ และ ปั๊มน้ำให้เด็กๆได้เล่น สำรวจและเรียนรู้ อย่างอิสระ
คูน้ำรอบๆได้ถูกขุดขึ้นใหม่ เพื่อสร้างความต่อเนื่องจากคลองบางมดและพืชพันธุ์ไม้ริมคลอง และยังทำหน้าที่ระบายน้ำฝนอีกด้วย

เครื่องเล่นแต่ละชนิดอย่าง สไลเดอร์ ตาข่ายปีนป่าย ปั๊มน้ำมือ หรือ ชิงช้า ได้ถูกเลือกมาเป็นองค์ประกอบร่วมของสวนนี้ โดยถูกจัดวางให้อยู่ในแต่ละมุมของสวน ริมบ่อน้ำ แนบเนินหญ้า ให้เด็กๆยังรู้สึก connect กับธรรมชาติระหว่างที่เล่น โดยแต่ละมุมก็มีการรักษาระยะห่าง และถูกสร้างขอบเขตด้วยต้นไม้หรือ Hardscape เพื่อให้เด็กๆและพ่อแม่แต่ละครอบครัวได้มีพื้นที่เล่นส่วนตัวที่ยังมองเห็นพื้นที่ส่วนรวม เป็นการสร้างประสบการณ์การสังเกตและการเรียนรู้ในการเข้าสังคมของเด็กเล็กๆอย่างค่อยเป็นค่อยไป
