เราออกแบบ Sculpture ชิ้นนี้ขึ้นสำหรับพื้นที่หน้าร้านอาหาร ภายใต้คอนเซปต์ Kaiseki

รูปทรงของงานชวนให้นึกถึงหยดน้ำ แต่เราไม่ได้ต้องการกำหนดความหมายให้ตายตัว เพราะอยากให้แต่ละคนสามารถมองและรู้สึกกับงานได้ในแบบของตัวเอง

ผิว Chrome ที่สะท้อนเงาทำให้ Sculpture เปลี่ยนไปตามแสง เวลา และสิ่งที่อยู่รอบตัว ขณะที่เมื่อติดตั้งอยู่ใต้โคมไฟรูปพระจันทร์ ทั้งสององค์ประกอบจะเชื่อมโยงกันผ่านแสงและภาพสะท้อน

แนวคิดนี้สะท้อนสิ่งที่เราชอบใน Kaiseki — ความละเอียดอ่อน ความสงบ และการให้คุณค่ากับทุกองค์ประกอบ แม้จะเป็นรายละเอียดเล็ก ๆ ก่อนที่ประสบการณ์ของอาหารจะเริ่มต้นขึ้น

We designed this sculpture for the restaurant entrance as part of the overall Kaiseki concept.

Its form suggests a droplet, but the interpretation is intentionally left open, allowing each viewer to experience it in their own way.

The reflective chrome surface changes with light, time, and its surroundings. When placed beneath a moon-shaped light, the two elements become connected through reflection and atmosphere.

This reflects what we value in Kaiseki — refinement, calmness, and attention to even the smallest details, creating an experience that begins before the meal itself.

น้ำเอ่อท่วมไซต์งานที่กำลังออกแบบอยู่ครับ

เพื่อนหลายคนที่เห็นรูปนี้ทักมาถามว่า "แย่หรือเปล่า" — ไม่แย่ครับ กลับดีใจด้วยซ้ำที่ได้เห็น

เพราะที่ดินผืนนี้เพิ่งบอกเราตรงๆ ว่าน้ำเดินทางยังไง ท่วมตรงไหน ขังนานแค่ไหน ข้อมูลแบบนี้หาไม่ได้จากผังที่ดินหรือรายงานสำรวจใดๆ ต้องรอฝนมาเองถึงจะเห็น

เราเลยไม่คิดจะถมดินให้เรียบแล้วลืมมันไป แต่จะออกแบบให้อาคารอยู่ร่วมกับจังหวะน้ำนี้ ยกพื้นบางส่วนให้ลอยเหนือผิวน้ำ ปล่อยให้พื้นที่ชุ่มน้ำเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของภูมิทัศน์จริงๆ ไม่ใช่แค่บ่อประดับ นี่แหละคือทิศทาง tropical & futuristic ที่เรากำลังผลักดันในโปรเจกต์นี้ — สถาปัตยกรรมเขตร้อนที่ไม่กลัวน้ำ แต่ออกแบบให้ทันกับมัน

ที่ดินที่ดูมีปัญหาที่สุด บางทีก็เป็นที่ดินที่สนุกที่สุดสำหรับเราครับ

The site is flooding while we're still designing it.

A few friends saw this photo and asked if things were going wrong. They're not — I was actually glad to see it.

This land just told us exactly how water moves through it. Where it floods, how long it sits, which way it drains. That's information no survey or site plan gives you. You only get it when the rain actually comes.

So we're not filling it in and pretending it's flat ground. We're designing the building to move with that rhythm — lifting parts of the structure above the water, letting the wetland stay part of the landscape instead of dressing it up as a decorative pond. That's the direction we're pushing on this project: tropical, forward-looking architecture that doesn't fight water, it's built to keep pace with it.

The sites that look like the biggest problems are usually the ones we enjoy most.

เราไม่ได้ต้องการออกแบบอาคารที่หุ้มด้วยแท่งแก้ว

เราต้องการสร้าง **ป่าแห่งแท่งแก้ว** ที่ผู้คนสามารถเดินเข้าไปสัมผัสได้

สีสันทั้งหมดไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นเพื่อความสวยงาม แต่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากโทนสีของผ้าหมี่ขิดอีสาน ถ่ายทอดมาสู่สถาปัตยกรรมร่วมสมัยผ่านแสง เงา และการเคลื่อนไหวของผู้คน

เมื่อแสงเปลี่ยน... อาคารก็เปลี่ยนไปเช่นกัน

นี่ไม่ใช่เพียงเปลือกอาคาร แต่เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ห่อหุ้มผู้มาเยือนตั้งแต่ก้าวแรก

Perspective images can inspire.
But process is what builds trust.

A strong project needs more than a beautiful idea.
It needs a clear way forward — from understanding the brief and reading the site, to shaping the concept, refining materials, coordinating details, and guiding the project toward reality.

Sustainability should be built in from the beginning.

เราไม่ได้มอง sustainability เป็นเพียงองค์ประกอบเสริม
แต่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการออกแบบตั้งแต่จุดเริ่มต้น

สำหรับงานสถาปัตยกรรมประเทศไทย หรือในเขตร้อน
การตอบสนองต่อสภาพอากาศคือหัวใจสำคัญ

แสงที่เหมาะสม
เงาที่ช่วยลดความร้อน
การไหลเวียนของลม
การเลือกใช้วัสดุ
และการวางอาคารให้สอดคล้องกับพื้นที่

Light, shade, breeze, proportion

Some of the most important decisions in tropical architecture are also the quietest.

How light enters.
How shade is created.
How air moves through a room.
How proportions shape comfort.

These are not decorative choices.
They are the fundamentals of how a space lives.

We are always drawn to architecture that feels grounded and composed — where shelter, proportion, and harmony with nature shape the experience of space.

When light, shade, breeze, and proportion work together, architecture begins to feel calm, natural, and effortless.

And often, that quiet clarity is what makes a space most memorable.

สิ่งที่ทำให้งานสถาปัตยกรรมในเขตร้อน “ทำงานได้ดี”

มักไม่ได้อยู่ที่องค์ประกอบใหญ่เพียงอย่างเดียว
แต่อยู่ที่การจัดสมดุลของ 4 เรื่องสำคัญ

Tropical design is often mistaken for a visual style.

But in reality, it begins with response — to climate, to place, and to the way people live.

For us, good tropical architecture is not about looking tropical.
It is about working beautifully in a tropical environment.
That is where comfort, calm, and lasting value begin.

หลายคนมองว่า tropical design คือเรื่องของภาพลักษณ์
เช่น หลังคายื่นยาว วัสดุไม้ หรือบรรยากาศรีสอร์ต

แต่สำหรับเรา tropical design ที่ดี ไม่ได้เริ่มจาก “สไตล์”
แต่มันเริ่มจากการตอบสนองต่อ แสง ลม เงา ความร้อน และวิธีใช้ชีวิตจริง

งานออกแบบในเขตร้อนควรช่วยให้พื้นที่
