Father of 16-Year-Old R**e Survivor Reports Threats After Daughter Gives Birth
Juba, South Sudan — Abraham Deng Chol, the father of a 16-year-old girl allegedly r***d by members of the Shirikat gang, says he has been receiving daily threats following the arrest of some suspects connected to the case.
Speaking to Citizens Voice Media, Deng confirmed that his daughter gave birth yesterday to a baby conceived as a result of the alleged assault involving 12 suspects.
He expressed serious concern for his family’s safety, claiming that individuals believed to be associates of the arrested suspects are attempting to intimidate him into withdrawing the case.
“I am receiving threats every day,” Deng said. “They want me to drop the case, but I only want justice for my daughter.”
