A Contemporary Family Mansion in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Situated on a 6,000 sqm site, this private family residence was designed as a modern sanctuary where architecture, landscape, and climate work together in harmony. Defined by clean horizontal forms, natural stone finishes, and carefully framed openings, the villa balances timeless elegance with everyday functionality.

The design was shaped by a detailed study of Dammam’s environmental conditions, including solar exposure, prevailing winds, and seasonal climate patterns. Deep overhangs, recessed glazing, and strategic building orientation help reduce heat gain, maximize natural daylight, and enhance thermal comfort throughout the year. Thoughtfully integrated landscaping with climate-adapted planting creates a cooler microclimate while strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor living.

By combining passive design strategies, durable materials, and environmentally conscious planning, the project demonstrates how luxury, sustainability, and family living can coexist seamlessly.

At 2XA Architecture & Interior Design, we believe every project begins with a vision. Through thoughtful design, technical expertise, and attention to every detail, we transform our clients’ dreams into exceptional living environments.

Ecological Urban Housing | New Delhi

In one of the world’s most populated and polluted capitals, this proposal rethinks how we live vertically.

Designed as a circular, climate-responsive housing model, the project accommodates 53 residential units within a reduced footprint, freeing the ground for greenery, water, and community space. Each home includes generous outdoor areas, while three elevated sky gardens reconnect residents with nature above the city.

With temperatures reaching 48°C, the building integrates passive strategies: a solar chimney for natural ventilation, vertical gardens for air purification and cooling, evaporative water features at ground level, and photovoltaic panels for renewable energy production.

This is more than housing — it is a prototype for responsible density, ecological performance, and a healthier urban future.

Building upward. Cooling naturally. Living sustainably.

What if housing didn’t just occupy the city — but repaired it?

New Delhi reaches 48°C.
It suffocates under density and pollution.
Yet we keep building the same way.

This proposal challenges that.

A circular vertical community designed not just to house 53 families — but to cool, breathe, and regenerate its surroundings.

Solar chimneys pulling heat upward.
Vertical forests filtering toxic air.
Sky gardens replacing lost ground.
Water cooling the urban core.
Photovoltaics turning extreme sun into power.

Density is not the enemy.
Bad design is.

This is architecture as climate infrastructure.
Housing as environmental strategy.
A monument for a new urban future.

The question is not can we build like this?
The question is why aren’t we already?

Can vertical living heal a city?

New Delhi reaches 48°C. It struggles with density. It struggles with air quality.
So instead of building wider — we build smarter.

This ecological urban housing proposal reimagines high-density living as a cooling machine for the city.

A circular form for better airflow.
A solar chimney for natural ventilation.
Vertical gardens to filter polluted air.
Sky gardens that bring the ground level upward.
Water at the base for evaporative cooling.
Photovoltaic panels transforming extreme heat into usable energy.

53 homes.
Minimal footprint.
Maximum environmental impact.

This isn’t just housing — it’s a prototype for how megacities can grow responsibly.

Would you live here? 🌱
