Partners in Motion: EP.3 — When the clock is the cargo.

A helicopter-borne geophysical survey in North-East DRC couldn't start until one thing arrived: specialised VTEM survey equipment, sitting in Ontario, Canada. The timeline was tight. The route was anything but simple.

LV Shipping Canada and Nucleus Mining Logistics South Africa moved it by air — Ontario → Entebbe, Uganda → overland into Beni, DRC via the Kasindi border, coordinating airline, clearing teams, transporters and mine representatives in real time.

Sensitive electronics. Temporary export and import formalities. Cross-border trucking into Eastern DRC. And a survey team waiting on the other end.

The equipment landed where it needed to be, when it needed to be there with full visibility the whole way.

Partners in Motion: EP.2 — 261 tonnes. 6 chillers. One smart RORO call.

Some cargo is too big and too heavy to leave to chance. When 6 industrial chillers, 43 tonnes each, needed to move from Taicang, China to a project site in Zambia, the smart move wasn't a container. It was a RORO vessel and a set of mafi trailers.

Nucleus Mining Logistics and Epsylog planned it together from the ground up: collection from the manufacturer, transport to port, export coordination, and a carefully managed roll-on/roll-off loading via Durban.

261.3 tonnes of project cargo. Routed China → Durban → Zambia. Delivered safely and on schedule, because Epsylog kept the shipper in the loop at every stage, and the right mode was chosen from day one.

The cheapest route and the safest route aren't always the same. With the right partners, they can be both.
