Our studio designed this Japanese hot spring resort for Chunhuiyuan in Beijing — creating a contemporary interpretation of the traditional onsen experience.

Dark timber, natural stone, warm ambient lighting, and carefully framed landscape elements create a sense of retreat from the city. The architecture draws from Japanese spatial principles without simply replicating tradition, balancing intimacy, simplicity, and atmosphere with the expectations of a contemporary resort.

From arrival to relaxation, every transition is designed to slow the pace and prepare guests for the hot spring experience.

Construction is progressing steadily on the Welsend Floating Sports Centre in Weifang, Shandong. It is always exciting to see a project transition from drawings and renderings into a built reality.

This project has been a collaborative effort involving architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and countless skilled workers. Watching the structure take shape reminds us that good design is ultimately measured by the spaces people will one day experience.

Our studio designed this central pavilion for an inflatable sports centre in Weifang, serving a complex of 30 tennis and badminton courts.

Conceived as a clean white volume within the large-span sports hall, the project brings together supporting functions including changing rooms, shower facilities, VIP lounges, viewing decks, retail, and café spaces into a unified architectural experience.

The design explores openness, clarity, and lightness — creating a calm social core within a high-energy sports environment.
