Picolove is a student initiated youth expedition trip project to Vientiene Province, Laos. Picolove represents a campaign and passion to serve the community. The love of the members of the project might seem small. However, we desire and are committed to make a big difference to the life of the Laotian students and our own local community.

The members of Picolove III will embark on our journey of love in summer '15 to Pa Bong Village. During our short stay there, we will make a difference to the village by contributing to the construction of the new school, conducting and facilitating lessons, as well as engaging in interactive activities with the entire village.

I. Improve access to sustainable quality education for Laotian villagers
II. Spread hygiene habits and knowledge as the foundations to a healthy society

Learning Objectives
I. To understand the social issues facing the region and Singapore
II. Appreciation of different cultures
III. Teamwork and management

Encourage volunteerism and empower the community we serve through sustainable approaches.

Arrived in Ha Giang and got the warmest welcome ๐Ÿซถ
๐Ÿ“š Had some fun (and sometimes challenging ๐Ÿ˜‚)Vietnamese lessons with our YESD friends!

We got to spend some time teaching the village children - they were all so eager to learn and honestly made our day ๐Ÿฅน

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Started constructing a road together with the local workers, helping to prevent their path from flooding during monsoon season ๐Ÿ’ช

Took a little mid-trip R&R ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐ŸŒฟ to recharge before getting back into it!
