This weeks featured install is an Easyglide in Balestier. Our client is moving into a lovely high floor corner unit and needed to balance their wish to reduce the highway noise with the need to have a safe solution for their dog. We fitted the opening panels with detachable rope restrictors to ensure the safety of the doggy while still allowing for ventilation. 🐾

The Magnetic Seal

The airtight seal only works if the whole frame closes evenly — that's what the magnets do. Instead of one latch pulling one corner tight, magnets run the full length of the frame, pulling the panel flush all the way round, so there's no weak spot for sound or air to sneak through.

Does Magnetite Block Sunlight or Glare?

The honest answer is:no. Magnetite's acrylic is optically clear, so it won't cut glare or block light.

What it does block is heat — up to 5–10°C cooler, depending on your window due to acrylic's superior insulation abilities. If glare's your main issue, that's a job for solar film on the original glass. The two can work well together, just solving different problems.
