Each year, more than 8 million metric tons of waste ends up in our oceans, threatening our marine biodiversity and the seafood we consume.

This August, in collaboration with GREEN NUDGE, Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia & Pacific’s CSR Committee organised a “Clean the Beach for a Sustainable Environment” event. Through this event, our employees collected 122 kg worth of trash, in an effort to preserve our oceans for generations to come.
