PARAPLYN ~ Winning proposal for a new café pavilion in Örebro Stadspark
Interior and exterior views of the serving spaces
Paraplyn grows in the park like a mushroom in the forest. Its canopy reaches outward, offering shelter, places to sit, and a sense of being embraced.
Neither from the past nor the future, Paraplyn expresses a continuity between culture and nature without relying on direct references. It appears to emerge in the present like an organism, a phenomenon in its own right and an expression of its time.
We would like to thank the jury for their trust and support. We look forward to developing the project further together with Örebro Municipality.
