No layover. No long break. Just 4 sectors back-to-back, quick meals in between, ground stops, boarding, deplaning, and doing it all over again.

2.1 MILLION PEOPLE REACHED! 🥹

Honestly, hindi ko talaga in-expect na aabot sa ganito karaming tao ang isang page na nagsimula lang naman as a simple space where I could share a little bit of my life.

I started The Lance Journal to share my crew life, travels, experiences, random thoughts, and the things I’m passionate about. Hindi ko naisip na one day, millions of people would come across the stories and moments I share here and the fact na this page is less than 2 months pa lang. 🥹

Kaya to everyone who follows, likes, comments, shares, watches, or simply takes the time to read my posts—maraming, maraming salamat!

More than the 2.1 million reach, I’m just genuinely grateful that somehow, the things I share are reaching people and hopefully giving them something—whether it’s a little inspiration, a new perspective, or simply something they can relate to.

And whatever number this page reaches, I hope The Lance Journal never loses its purpose: to inspire, to share my experiences and travels, and to continue sharing the things I genuinely love and enjoy.

DAVAO! 🫶 Nalipay gyud ko nga nakabalik ko diri, bisag quick layover ra.

Last year, naka-base ko diri sa Davao for about 6 months, and somehow, nahimo gyud ni nako siyang second home base sa aviation. Daghan kaayo kog memories diri—mga flights, kapoy, early call times, ug tanan nga moments in between. Pero pinaka-importante sa tanan, diri ko naka-meet ug mga tawo nga nahimo gyud nakong close, ug ang mga kauban nako sa trabaho nga murag pamilya na nako. 💛

Mao gyud nang kung mahatagan ko ug chance nga ma-base balik diri, Davao gyud akong pilion, by choice.

Kahilidlaw gyud ko nga ma-base diri. So bisan quick layover ra ni karon, happy na kaayo ko nga naka-balik-balik ko sa lugar nga naa’y daghang memories ug special nga mga tawo para nako.

Iloilo really has so many good food to offer, kaya kahit saglit lang ang stopover, sulit pa rin kapag may chance makatikim ng local favorites. ❤️

But this time, let me take you with me through the photos I took during our recent 24-hour layover.

Not just the usual cabin crew stories. This time, I'm sharing Melbourne the way I saw it through my camera.

I've always love taking photos of places, people, and even the simplest moments that catch my eye. So little by little, I'll be sharing more of these moments here on The Lance Journal.

Because this journal isn't just about flying. It's also about travel, photography, stories and the little things I find beautiful along the way.

9 years ago, before the pandemic, you messaged me asking if I was going to apply for the Cebu Pacific Bacolod hiring that year.

Who would’ve thought that years later, we’d find ourselves doing the safety demonstration together in the forward section on a MNL–RUH–MNL flight? ✈️

Sometimes, life really has a funny way of bringing people and moments together when we least expect it.

Our first long-haul together! It doesn’t happen often, but it was such a pleasure flying with you. 💛

From a simple message 9 years ago to sharing the same flight today! what a small but beautiful full-circle moment. 💛

IBA’T IBANG TAO. ISANG TEAM.

Sa bawat lipad, iba-ibang tao ang makakasama mo.

Iba’t ibang ugali.
Iba’t ibang kwento.
Iba’t ibang paraan ng pagtatrabaho.

Pero pagdating sa eroplano, nagiging isang team kami.

May mga crew na isang flight lang makakasama.
May iba namang paulit-ulit mong makakasama hanggang maging kaibigan.
At may ilan na hindi mo makakalimutan dahil naging parte sila ng journey mo.

Sa likod ng bawat flight, hindi lang eroplano ang bumibiyahe.

May mga taong nagtutulungan para makarating nang ligtas ang bawat pasahero sa kanilang destinasyon. 💛

Iba-iba man ang crew sa bawat lipad, pare-pareho ang goal—magbigay ng maayos at ligtas na flight.

Sa lahat ng mga naging kalipad ko, salamat sa bawat sector.
Kita-kits sa susunod na lipad! ✈️💛
