Bogsha Offices
“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”

For a production house that works by that rule, an office was made in which nothing is seen by accident.
Glass in red frames turns each space into a frame seen from the next; a luminous disc at the centre unifies the light beneath it; tiered steps face a wall hung with the studio’s own work.

BAG
BAG stands on two opposites that rarely reconcile: a system built to be taken apart, and a place meant to last.
A scaffolding grid over a former parking lot, stretched with the woven cloth of goat-hair tents. The two fastest building systems this climate has known, in one building.

Sewan

The modern café begins at the till. Sewan begins at the wijar.
A room arranged by hospitality rather than by service: a hearth at the threshold, then a censer, then a column standing in for the tent pole, then a bar that is the manqal, the dallah pots ranged along it. The floor is black parquet, the colour of wood gone to charcoal.
