‏نئی زمیں نہ کوئی آسمان مانگتے ہیں
بس ایک گوشۂ امن و امان مانگتے ہیں

کچھ اب کے دھوپ کا ایسا مزاج بگڑا ہے
درخت بھی تو یہاں سائبان مانگتے ہیں

ہمیں بھی آپ سے اک بات عرض کرنا ہے
پر اپنی جان کی پہلے امان مانگتے ہیں

قبول کیسے کروں ان کا فیصلہ کہ یہ لوگ
مرے خلاف ہی میرا بیان مانگتے ہیں

ہدف بھی مجھ کو بنانا ہے اور میرے حریف
مجھی سے تیر مجھی سے کمان مانگتے ہیں

نئی فضا کے پرندے ہیں کتنے متوالے
کہ بال و پر سے بھی پہلے اڑان مانگتے ہیں

All places in the city
Fell on the floor
So some Makkans were saved there

Touch the fallen windows
Someone touch the door
Or from a long distance if a vehicle etc. passes by
It looks like it will fall off in no time
There is no apparent sign of fatigue
But the fact is that it is not worth living
This house that looks safe is not safe

I am one such person
That on which
Several earthquakes struck
Still I survived
(Whether or not survived could not be determined)
There is no apparent sign of fatigue
There is no regret on my face
But the fact is that it is not worth living
I who look safe to everyone, I am not safe

Adopting silence is not a sign of oppression, there is a difference in priorities, not everything and every person deserves an answer!!
ಮೌನವನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ದಬ್ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣವಲ್ಲ, ಆದ್ಯತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವಿದೆ, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಅಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಹರು !!
