Reforestation should be easy not complicated. 1. Contour ditch around 15 cm deep to harvest water. 2. seeds, many many seeds including those on the naughty list. 3. Leaf litter with micorhizal fungi 4. Used chicken bedding 5. Rock dust (basalt in this case) 6. Wood chip mulch. Watch it grow. No irrigation needed.

Almost finished being mulched. Effective microbes added to the soil and sprayed o the guava tree to stop the worms next summer.

Transformation. Paths marked. Mixed hedging for privacy. Bananas, tea garden, rock dusts and biochar for soil improvement.
JADAM (in blue container) waiting to reach pinnacle point. Various floors, shrubs and ground covers planted. And a space left for a little table and chairs.
The space already has a completely different feel to it.
The little round horta has been seeded with a cover crop to be tarped in early spring.
