What if there was a place where heartbreak wasn’t hidden—but honored?
I’m developing a concept for what I hope could one day become the Philippines’ first Heartbreak Museum.
Not just about romantic breakups, but every form of loss that shapes us: family, friendships, dreams that never came true, beloved pets, mentors, childhood homes, and all the “what could have been.”
Imagine a space where people donate letters, photographs, gifts, and keepsakes—turning deeply personal memories into stories that remind others they are never alone.
More than a museum, I envision a place where architecture, music, art, storytelling, and mental health come together. A place where OPM echoes through every gallery, where every exhibit carries a real story, and where every visitor leaves with a little more hope than when they arrived.
This isn’t about celebrating heartbreak.
It’s about celebrating the courage to heal.
I’m sharing this vision in the hope of connecting with architects, artists, musicians, museum curators, mental health advocates, brands, institutions, and investors who believe in creating something that can outlive all of us.
My hope is simply that one day, this institution exists to serve our nation. Whether this vision is realized by me or by someone else in the future, the dream is that it is built—a necessary haven for the Filipino spirit to find its way home.
Let’s keep the dream alive.
