Experiment on THERMAL Efficiency & FIRE RESISTANCE of LOCK BLOCKS.

This informal experiment we conducted last Sept 22, 2026, from 1:10pm- 6:10pm at our own facility in Quezon City proves the following:

☑️ Lock Blocks can withstand continuous heavy fire for at least 5 hours. No significant damage, no physical change.

☑️ Lock Blocks THERMAL EFFICIENCY is very evident with actual fire heat at more than 1.2K deg Celcius & yet the Lock Blocks temperature at the other side is just less than 50 °C. Moreover, comparing to ordinary CHB, there is a very big difference of about 40 °C, with Lock Blocks registering about an average of 45-48 °C VS ordinary CHB which tabulated around 85-88 °C for the entire 5 hours of under fire.
* Lock Blocks under experiment is the standard produced (but class B) of 125 mm (5") thk.
