🏠 PROJECT FEATURE | 2023 Build — "One Roof, Two Homes"
Most multi-generational homes solve the space problem with more bedrooms. This 2023 project solved it differently — by building a second, fully independent residence right on top of the first.
The second floor isn't just a private retreat. It's a complete home of its own: living room, dining area, full working kitchen, laundry room, and guest bath — everything a household needs to function on its own schedule, under one roof. The master suite anchors it all, with a private toilet & bath, walk-in closet, and a balcony that looks out over the neighborhood.
Downstairs keeps things grounded for everyday family life: living, dining, and kitchen areas, a guest room with its own powder room, maid's quarters, and a 3-car garage.
Up top, the third floor opens into two bedrooms and a wide family hall, framed by decks on either side — built for slow afternoons and weekend gatherings. We even left a provision for a future elevator, because a home built for generations should be able to grow old with the people in it.
This is the kind of design challenge we love — building spaces flexible enough for the realities of Filipino family life, without losing the warmth of one household, one roof.
