Space planning in architecture, particularly considering sun orientation, is of paramount importance due to several reasons:

> Daylighting: Strategic space planning allows for effective daylighting strategies, ensuring that different areas within the building receive adequate natural light throughout the day.
> Solar Gain Management: By considering sun orientation during space planning, architects can minimize unwanted solar heat gain in certain areas of the building.
> Passive Solar Heating and Cooling: Properly oriented buildings can harness the sun's energy for passive heating and cooling purposes.

In conclusion, space planning that takes sun orientation into account is crucial for creating buildings that are not only energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable but also provide occupants with comfortable, well-lit, and visually stimulating spaces to inhabit.
