RBGROUP DIAMOND CORPORATION is looking for a skilled, dependable, and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing workforce and support the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment used in land development, reclamation, infrastructure, and construction projects.

Qualifications

✅ TESDA NC II in Heavy Equipment Servicing, Automotive Servicing, Diesel Engine Servicing, or equivalent is an advantage
✅ With experience in repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and diesel engines
✅ Knowledgeable in hydraulic, electrical, transmission, brake, and engine systems
✅ Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems accurately
✅ Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment
✅ Can read service manuals, technical drawings, and repair procedures
✅ Safety-conscious, reliable, and hardworking
✅ Willing to work on project sites and respond to equipment breakdowns

Scope of Work

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

* Performing preventive maintenance on excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, graders, backhoes, dump trucks, rollers, and other heavy equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, transmission, brake, and engine system failures.
* Conducting routine inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
* Performing engine overhauls, component replacement, welding, fabrication, and equipment repairs when necessary.
* Troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.
* Maintaining maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
* Inspecting lubricants, filters, batteries, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems.
* Coordinating with Equipment Operators and the Equipment Manager regarding equipment condition and repair requirements.
* Ensuring all maintenance work complies with company safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Performing other duties assigned by the Equipment Manager, Project Manager, or Operations Manager.

* Loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing construction materials, tools, and equipment.
* Performing site clearing, excavation, backfilling, grading, compaction, and other earthworks.
* Assisting in concrete works, drainage installation, road construction, reclamation, and land development activities.
* Cleaning and maintaining the worksite to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
* Assisting in the mobilization, demobilization, and maintenance of construction equipment and materials.
* Following all company safety policies, procedures, and site regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Supporting project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
* Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Foreman, or Supervisor.

Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering course (Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage)
✅ With experience in QA/QC, land development, reclamation, infrastructure, and construction projects
✅ Knowledgeable in QA/QC procedures, inspection standards, ITPs, method statements, and project specifications
✅ Experienced in preparing QA/QC reports, inspection requests, material approvals, and turnover documents
✅ Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and project documentation
✅ Experienced in quantity take-off (QTO), progress measurement, and billing preparation
✅ Knowledgeable in BOQ, contract drawings, and technical specifications
✅ Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills

Scope of Work

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

* Implementing and monitoring the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) System
* Conducting inspections of civil, earthworks, reclamation, and infrastructure works
* Verifying that construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, standards, and contract requirements
* Preparing Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), test reports, NCRs, punch lists, and turnover documents
* Monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly project accomplishments and preparing progress reports
* Measuring completed work quantities and validating accomplishments for contractor billing
* Preparing and reviewing progress billings, quantity take-offs (QTO), and supporting documents
* Coordinating with Project Engineers, Survey Teams, Consultants, and Clients regarding inspections and work acceptance
* Maintaining QA/QC records, documentation, and project filing systems
* Ensuring compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and client specifications
* Assisting project management in achieving quality, schedule, and project completion targets
