Job Advertisement: Experienced Refrigeration Mechanic (Lae)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team in Lae, Morobe Province. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and HVAC systems, with a strong focus on reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Install and commission new refrigeration and HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate service records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Requirements
• Trade certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial/industrial refrigeration.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
