As we mark one year since the unveiling of Muscat's iconic flagpole, we celebrate the collaboration, innovation, and engineering expertise that made this achievement possible.

At EIDC, we are proud to have delivered the structural engineering design for the landmark project -The tallest man-made structure in Oman,13th tallest flagpole in the world- a structure that has become an enduring part of Muscat's skyline and a source of pride for Oman.

The flagpole itself features a massive base diameter of 2.8 metres, tapering elegantly to 0.9 metres at the top.

One of our first masterpiece project - An iconic office building at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), KOM4 - This project was envisioned to deliver expansive, column-free office spaces, enhancing flexibility and functionality for modern workplaces. The structure was designed using a Post-Tensioned (PT) slab system—one of the earliest implementations of this advanced technology in Oman.
We take pride in being among the pioneers in introducing and popularizing PT structural systems in the Sultanate. The structural design was carefully developed to align seamlessly with the architectural vision, resulting in a harmonious and efficient built form.
The building has since become a landmark within the KOM campus, recognized for both its engineering innovation and aesthetic appeal.
Our scope included structural design and complete supervision of the project, ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout ex*****on. As one of our earliest projects, this development holds special significance for us and stands as a true testament to our commitment to excellence—a masterpiece that reflects our capabilities and vision.
