Wanted Experienced Abrasive Blaster / Spray Painter
Location: Whangārei, Full-Time
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Abrasive Blaster and Paint Applicator to join our busy team. You will be responsible for surface preparation and applying protective coatings to a variety of commercial equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate pressure pot and airless spray systems safely and efficiently. Prep surfaces and apply 2-pot commercial paint systems to specified thickness requirements. Maintain equipment and keep a safe, clean work area. Assist with yard duties and forklift operations when required.
Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience in abrasive blasting and industrial painting. Knowledge of coating thicknesses and protective coating application standards. Forklift license and confidence operating on-site are preferred. Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
