If you are building a new home and installing a pressure sewer tank & pump, then this is something to think about:

➡️ single 3 bed homes generally only need the smaller Eone tank to comply with BC requirements. This gives you 24 hours of household wastewater emergency storage.🤔

➡️ but the thing that keeps me up at night (not really , but I do think about it when there’s a power outage in the news) is that they need power to work.

➡️and what do you do if there’s no power for longer than 24hours.

One thing to consider aside from 🪏digging a hole in the back lawn, is to install a bigger tank.

👉 Eones come in 1200 and 1500 litres (almost double the standard size) and the cost is not much more if you install at the start.

Which gives you a bigger buffer in the event of an 💩💩 emergency.

That’s my take on it.
I’ve yet to see anyone do it though.
So maybe no one has thought about it yet …
But You will next time the power goes out.😁
