New Project! The Square Kerikeri🎉

This new project is officially underway. The Square is a 2,921m² mixed-use redevelopment, designed to integrate retail/commercial and residential spaces into the one complex. Featuring a commercial hub on the ground floor and 8 standalone apartments above, this project will transform a derelict building into an modern and vibrant space that supports both local businesses and modern residential living.

We're looking forward to seeing this project progress and completing another high quality Design & Build project.

New Project ✅Tikipunga High School

ARCO Group are excited to be delivering another Design and Build education project, this time at Tikipunga High School. Established in 1971, this Whangarei school is receiving a new 580m² admin block, replacing the existing dated facility with a purpose built building that supports both the staff and students.
We’re looking forward to working with the Ministry of Education, Mandeno Design, LM Consulting, and the school to deliver this modern and functional space.

Project Complete ✅ Educated Furniture

The Educated Furniture build has been successfully completed! Delivered in just 10 months, this purpose-built warehouse and office facility involved pouring over 3,200m² of concrete, erecting 41 tonnes of structural steel, and coordinating 35 subcontractors throughout the build. This development showcases our commitment to delivering high-quality design and build projects, on schedule, on budget, and to our client's brief.

We're looking forward to seeing how this build facilitates continued growth for the Educated Furniture team now and into the future.

Project Update: National Storage🏗️

Momentum at the National Storage site is continuing to build with the completion of the remaining 3,500m² concrete slab and the first steel structure installed. This month, work continues with roofing and the construction of the second structure, bringing this project closer to completion!

Project Update: Tranzit Bus🏗️

The new Tranzit Buses Depot on Spedding Road, is almost complete!
With the exterior cladding 95% finished, all interior doors installed, and painting well underway, this project is right on track for the client handover at the beginning of August.

Project Complete🥳

3 years in the making, and the Old Municipal Building refurbishment is finally complete!
Alongside the Whangarei District Council and our project partners, we are delighted to celebrate this successful restoration in Whangārei.

After extensive fire damage in 2019 that affected the upper level and historic clock tower, the project called for both heritage preservation and incorporating new architectural features and finishes. This 700m2 redevelopment involved carefully restoring the original doors, windows, and architectural features and transforming the two-storey building into a modern office space.

The completed result reflects the strong collaboration across the project team and showcases ARCO Group’s commitment to delivering outstanding project results.

Project Completed: Roofing Industries 🥳

We’re honoured to see Roofing Industries now operating from its new purpose-built manufacturing facility, delivered by ARCO Group.

The development features a 2,200m² warehouse and 312m² office, designed to support the production and distribution of metal roofing, cladding, and rainwater systems to the construction sector.

Completed in just 12 months, the facility includes a drive-through logistics bay, gantry cranes, and specialist manufacturing infrastructure, all designed to improve logistics efficiency, manufacturing workflows, and customer experience.

Delivered by ARCO’s experienced design and build team, this project reflects the value of tailored industrial design-build solutions that support both performance today and growth into the future.

A new project is underway!

ARCO Group and Greenstar Properties have partnered with our client on a new 1,287m² commercial land and building package at our Southend Ave Business Park, with the contract now signed and the project moving into design and delivery.
The flythrough lets you explore the purpose-built facility planned for the site and how the development will come together.
