Three young men. Three careers that will help build the future of our communities.
This month we welcomed Arama Te Rangi, Poukupenga Te Nahu and Daniel Gledhill to the J&R Contracting Waikato team.
Civil construction isn't always the career people notice first, but its impact can be seen in every community across New Zealand. The roads we travel, the water we drink, and the infrastructure that supports our towns and cities are all built by people who choose to make a tangible difference every day.
It may not always be glamorous, but civil construction can be an incredibly rewarding career. It offers purpose, opportunity, lifelong skills, strong earning potential, and the chance to be part of projects that leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
We're grateful to WINTEC for partnering with industry and creating pathways that connect talented young people with meaningful careers. Opportunities like these are vital to the future of our sector.
Most importantly, we want to acknowledge the families, whānau and supporters standing behind these young men. The pride and excitement shared by parents and loved ones reminds us that every new recruit represents much more than a new employee.
They represent a future, a family, and a responsibility that we take seriously.
To Arama, Poukupenga and Daniel, thank you for choosing this path and for placing your trust in us. We look forward to supporting your journey, investing in your growth, and watching you develop your careers.
We're proud you've chosen to start that journey with J&R.
