Concrete day. Wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow, load by load, getting it where it needs to go.

Some sites do not have room for a pump. So you do it the old fashioned way. No shortcuts, just graft and a crew that gets on with it.

Chapter one at Mere Road.

Scaffolding up, old weatherboards stripped back, and the real work happening underneath. New steel going in, retaining walls forming up, and the foundations getting set for what this house is going to become.

Renovations like this one do not start pretty. Peeling paint, exposed framing, formwork everywhere. But this is the chapter where the planning turns into progress.

Stripping it back to bring it forward. This Taupō villa is getting a full rework, but the character that makes it worth saving stays.

New cladding going on, levels checked, concrete poured. The kind of work that doesn't cut corners just because the bones are old.

Every renovation has a story. This one's next chapter is shaping up nicely.

Back on site at our Mere Road project.

This one's a big reno with a lot of moving parts - new aluminium joinery going in, remedial work through the roof structure and framing, plumbing roughed in for the bathrooms and kitchen, fresh cladding on the basement level, and retaining wall work getting underway outside.

It's a constantly evolving job, and we'll keep you updated as we go.
