What a stunning Southland day! ☀️ It’s so good to see the sun shining bright again!

There’s no better feeling than getting out in the fresh air, making the most of the sunshine, and getting the job done.

A great day to be a landscaper! ☀️

Another fence casualty thanks to some strong winds!

But no worries, out with the old and up with a new one for our client. Another fence standing strong and ready to take on whatever the weather throws at it!

Not the most ideal situation on a Friday afternoon heading to your last job for the day 😂😂

Well Southland, today was definitely one for the books! ☀️

The sun finally decided to break through those rain clouds and gave us a lovely, warm day, which meant we could finally get into filling some of the garden areas with soil without it instantly turning into a mud pit! 🙌

Don’t get me wrong, mud is great fun to play in, but every day for the past week or two? Not quite as much fun! 🤣

But another job we done first thing this morning did consist of mud as we concreted some posts in for a retaining wall. Photos to come on this job, she’s a big one 😊

It was so good to finally have a dry day and make some progress!

Thought we would give you a little sneak peek of our own project that we’ve been working on at the weekends.

We are currently building our new home when time allows, so it’s definitely a work in progress!

This weekend we created a wee feature wall out of cedar for our toilet room. Riverton Plumbing are in this week, so we needed to get it finished and in place.

We are loving seeing it all slowly come together, one weekend at a time. 🔨

Fresh sand, happy kids, and a sandpit that didn’t stay empty for long.

At the childcare centre we were working at today, we removed the old sand and replaced it with fresh new sand, the children loved watching the digger in action from behind the safety fencing.

As we got closer to finishing, they kept asking, “Can we play in the sandpit yet?” They were more than ready to get in there.

Once the job was done and the safety fence came down, they were straight in. Safe to say, the new sandpit was a huge hit.
