As a former designer in Singapore, and always having a love for anything with a story, history or just a little unique, when faced with an excess of old building materials left over from a major home renovation when returning home, the solution was clear, how can I use and make something from all this......

Wanting to fill some wall space when done with something unique and personal, some of that

"junk" came in handy and putting our street name, postcode on a piece would do the trick, then a large piece with places we lived on old fence posts planted the seed and from there the unique brand 5032 was born. Called so because both living and creating in Kapiti and 5032 is the area postcode. Using recycled materials and embracing the patina, age and history of each piece, mixing it with typography and area specific code's creates unique one off art pieces. Because no two materials sourced are the same nor are the resulting pieces, so you are guaranteed an original. With an endless array of possibilities' and scope for both here and overseas its impossible to nail everyone's code every time, so why not get a unique piece created specifically. So whether it's a statement piece for you home, office, the bach, gift for someone special, or just wanting something a bit different to express a special place to you get in touch with your requirements, its great to have an excuse to get creating! So what's your code??

Hello Cantina Peeps, so as you all know we opened our very brand new baby in Raumati 10 days before we had to shut shop. Man did we have a blast in those 10 days!!!!
I am super grateful for all the support from the community but also my amazing team that already feel like family.
I AM SO TRUELY BLESSED ❤❤
As a small business owner these are some very scary times for me financially. I have worked super hard over the years and apart from a small mortgage top up when I went into Marine Parade Eatery all those years ago I have never asked for $$ to grow my business and love for feeding Kapiti some true tasty healthy food . I have worked tirelessly over the years to keep growing with out any hand outs or loans and that's something I dont want to change especially in these uncertain times. What I do know is when this is over we will be opening those doors again and I know me and my team have all the community behind them.
What I am asking you for is if you can, to buy Cantina $$$ now to help keep things moving while we cant open out doors . The way this works is you buy Cantina $$ / vouchers and we will give you an extra 25% on top to say thanks for supporting us through this hard times . So if you buy $100 we will give you $25 extra . These can be used in either cafe or on cooking classes that we will start up again when this is over .
