Who else is loving the look of these vertical brass heated towel rails? 🔥

These are Polo rails in brushed brass . Clean, modern, and a nice change from the usual. A great way to add warmth and style to the bathroom.

They also allow for a nice seamless install with concealed wiring — no dangling cables, just a tidy finish 👌

💥Get that ceramic fuse outta here! 😅

This job started as a no hot water fault and the customer was gearing up to replace the cylinder element, but the real culprit turned out to be a loose connection on an old rewireable fuse.

I discovered it when I went to pull the fuse… and it was about a million degrees 🔥 Not ideal, and definitely not what you want protecting your home.

We upgraded the circuit to a Schneider RCBO, giving both circuit breaker and RCD protection in one — safer, more reliable, and a big step up from the old ceramic fuse setups.

Anytime we upgrade circuit protection (and often it’s required), this is the standard you’ll get.
Only thing better? A full switchboard and protection upgrade 👍

Amazing how many of these we find hanging on for dear life after Mr. Half Pie has trusted a few cable ties and “she’ll be right” UV ratings 😅☀️

Heat pump servicing — yep, we do that too 👍

Many homeowners don’t realise regular cleaning and servicing is often required to keep those multi-year warranties valid.

Over time, dust, dirt, and even foliage can build up around both the indoor and outdoor units. That makes the system work harder, reduces efficiency, and can lead to premature failures.

A clean heat pump also does a much better job of circulating clean air through your home — especially important if anyone has allergies or sensitivities.

You’d be surprised how many old sensor lights and twin-spots we replace. The sensors often end up brittle, water-damaged, or melted from an electrical fault like this one.

These days most upgrades are the modern LED equivalent with an aluminium construction— far more reliable, energy-efficient, and they give much better light around your home.
